I did not read all of the thread; I only spot read. I was asking you, what you want out of this thread. The reason I asked you that was; you seem to be telling everyone what to do or not do and you’re not the starter of the thread. So, there is something you want, and maybe I did miss it. I have not posted here before because this thread seems to be so controversial and rape is a subject not to be taken lightly. There are people who have had their lives turned upside down by rape. To ask if it is wrong is to ask if violating these people is wrong. You also asked people to say why they came to their opinion, would you ask that of a rape victum?

I want people to not spot read, to not come in on the last page and say something stupid or irrelevant, which seems to be a tall order here. It's not an unreasonable request though is it?
You proved my point. He's not asking if it's wrong, he's saying it is, but what MAKES it wrong.

yes - but with all due respect, don't you think we should all make an effort to argue things in a more polite manner, rather than say things we could escalate situations to a higher level. Look at PVS and myself - I am now on his ignore list 🙂 due to his anger at my posts, can't we all agree to argue civily.

You should tell the mods to close all threads that are in danger of being too long, but you are not in charge. You can not make me do anything anymore than I can make you do anything. If you have an axes to grind, don’t waist your time grinding it on me. It will only get you banned.
What makes rape wrong is the same reason it is wrong. The way it changes a person is hard to understand. Besides the obvious physical harm, there is a harm that can’t be put into words.
What I saw when looking though this thread was someone in pain. To tell you the truth, I have my own reasons why I am here, and why I don’t want to read all of this thread.
Sorry, but I wonder if you have a problem, and if you do, I hope you find an answer that will make you happy. It has taken me a lot of years to find the answers that make me happy.
