yes it was. Spidey written right is a beast. Thats the reason why I think that he does extremly poor against guys like Doc Ock or Vulture.

Doc Ock has just mechanic arms no other powers one good punch from Spidey and he should be koed or death.

Right, which is why all of Spider-Man 2 was PIS (though it was still a great movie). At least in the comics Spidey doesn't punch him much...he was whaling away in the movie. Ock shoulda been dead 20 times over.

And yes, Spidey written correctly is a beast. Unless you have Quicksilver-esque speed or a plot device, you don't touch him unless he lets you.

The purpose of the story was to confirm Kraven the Hunter as the world's foremost expert on badassery, I guess.

I think it was actually Kraven's son.... but i'd have to look out more old issues to find out

I looked out all my "Cosmic Spidey" comics the other day to add to this thread.... but something came up and i had to go drinking .... 🙂

Hulk threw that cement truck up there earlier in the fight.... Spider-Man just made him run into the building and knock it loose

yes he beat the HULK thats right those of you who didn't know, our favourite web swinging wall crawling freak of nature (and I'm not talking about my strange uncle Bert) beat the HULK

Actually, Spidey HAS taken a hit from Mindless Hulk at full blast, and lived. He had a few broken ribs, and that was it. Hard-freaking-core.

Also, Superman may be able to beat him, but at least Spidey can make babies with his own wife!

Spideys taken on everyone. Try and name someone he hasn't. He took on the Thing he's taken on JS numerous imes. Kick some Avenger ass in his day....and still has enough energy to send Daredevil to the hospital. (Even though Daredevil is the worst superhero in Marvel.(power wise.))
