Yeah...Kingpin's a beast. If I wasn't a hardcore Spidey fan, I could make him his own respect thread. Spidey's proven himself to be KP's better, but only barely. Kingpin always gets some good licks in. And that destruction of Cap just solidifies it.

Seeing as how the issue begins the "Road to Civil War" arc, I'd say that's a fair bet.

But yeah, definitely about the war, and possibly about the ill...though that's slightly less likely.

And yeah, I'm kinda surprised at the current "Well, Spidey in his new costume must be like class 30, so he'd definitely win with the costume" crap that's polluting the vs. forum right now. It makes him bulletproof, he can glide short distances, and he has infrared vision and a police scanner....that's about it. Nothing about a speed or strength upgrade. It tricks him out quite a bit, but really doesn't make him a new hero or anything. And it's sleek as hell, so I'm not arguing.

Meh, being drawn multiple times in a panel is nothing new for Pete. And Tony without his armor is just Tony.

Still, a speed increase would be ridiculously funny, since it's hard to find anyone in his class of agility/speed anyway outside of speedsters.

The point of those scans wasn't the action pic, it was what Pete says about his speed in the second scan

I know it's hard for you sig-thiefs to get past the pics to read the words.... but sometimes they can tell you what's really going on.... even in a comic, try reading sometime
