Lol it's not only having the powers but it's using them. And guns = totally different from heat vision, and flying, and FPS usually doesn't involve a caped super hero going around saving people from huge ass birds and aliens.

All I ask is, when the hell is there going to be a decent Superman game?

I don't even want great. Just give me one that's decent, and I'll be happy.

I dont understand what they did with the extra 6 months, this game is so half-assed.

Superman Returns the game sucks. They had half a year to get this game ready and what did they do? Throw a ball against the wall to kill time?

Probably did just that, it was made by the team that makes Madden games. 🙄

Which actually explains why its half-assed. lol

I mean come on. There's not much to do in the large city; no variety to mission objectives; story is a confusing mess; boss battles can be insanely frustrating; unless you're a few miles above the city, it looks pretty rough.

So what do you use the powers for?

Killing enemies?

Wow, that sures sounds like a gun to me...just with an animation of fire, or freeze.

I'm not comparing this game to any FPS, but just that the powers are pretty much guns. There's no difference.

I think Superman as an character is difficult to put into a game. He is pretty unstoppable. It kinda of makes it not fun to play.

Well hopefully they make another one because this one was superb, but don't make it out to be like I gave this game a 10.

If I was to give it a review my score would be a 8.8/10

there are somethings that I want to see in the next one:

-Underwater
-Fully Destructible Buildings
-Brainiac/Flash/Batman etc...Just more villains/heroes, I'm not asking for a justice league but some alliances would be nice.
-Online play, definitely would like some all out super hero battle arenas.

Go ahead and add to the list, what would you like to see in the next one that wsn;t in this one.

Shouldnt going underwater, destructable buildings already be a part of this game?

After all was said and done, this just made me want to play Spiderman 3 really bad. lol

They will probably make another when the next Superman movie is coming out.

And yes those things should be in this one and I don't know why they aren't. It's what kept me from giving this game a Great rating.

I guess superman is too hard to make a gaming experience for (at least with todays tech).. he really has no limitation

I just dont think its really a good character to base a whole game around. Nothing kills him except for kryponite.

What's the fun of that.

Can you see how MP is played out.....everybody just hitting everybody with death rays and not dying.

One thing about the powers, since that alone apparently makes this game worth it( 🙄 ), I loved how for most bad guys, none of them work. 😬

My favourite thing from the demo was that bad guy at the end, Ill I did was fly around him in circles shooting freeze rays at him.

The dude wanted going underwater.

But if you play the game, it somewhat makes sense to go underwater. It's a wierd feeling when you play.

And I think it could of broken the extreme case of being bland and boring if they had cool underwater missions.
