Chase picked up Shade and took him to the hospital wing. When he was done, he headed to Alex and grabbed her. He talked as they walked toward the forest.
"Okay. Here's what's up. The vampire lord, Sir Thaddeus Kadaj, is living in London. He works at the ministry of magic. We have to go there tommorrow night and stop him before he leaves. He always has a group of highly trained vamps with him for protection. We have to take them out then kill Kadaj. There is a rumour that his blood can cure one of the 'vampire' curse, but I dont believe it. I want the Vampire Stone, the stone that holds the blood of all 'registered' vampires. It's worth millions! So, are you still in, Alex?"
Alex sighed as she was pulled by Chase. She listened to bits and pieces of what he was telling her, although not paying full attention. When she heard her name, she turned and faced him, her red eyes were fierce as she looked into his. "Do I have a choice or are you going to threaten to kill someone again to make me join you?" she said annoyed with what he was asking her to do. "And what's this about a 'cure'? Vampires don't need cures, there is nothing wrong with us." She was definitely annoyed with him thinking being a vampire was a disease.
