Alex sneered at him, "You can't be serious... You really think I would just bite you out of nowhere?... Don't answer that. I've changed Chase, while you were gone. I may still be a souless being, but I only want a meal that could possibly fight me back."

That made chase stop.
"You think I can't fight, huh? You wanna see?"
He grabbed his dagger and removed the shoulderplate. Blood flowed freely as he wiped his dagger on the wound. He replaced the shoulderplate and got ready to fight.

Alex stared at Chase confused, yet there was happiness in her voice."Do you want to die Chase? I just told you I wouldn't kill unless I had a good fight before hand.... so you whip out your dagger and get ready to fight. I mean I will not object this fight if you really wish you were like me."

"I'm not afraid of you. I'm not afraid of anything. After you've lost your family and friends....It doesn't matter anymore. Come get me...if you can."
Chase ran off into the forest....

Alex snickered as he ran off, "I'm not going to run after you Chase," she said knowing that he could hear her. "Please correct me if I am wrong, but if you run away from an attacker, wouldn't that mean you gave up? Or do you not like to fight girls." She continued taunting him, "I dare you to come back."

A strong smell of blood came from behind her. And also a chuckle....

Alex didn't even turn to look. She knew who was there, her face stayed calm, waiting for his first move. "I knew you would come back," she said smirking. "Couldn't resist could you?"

Chase didnt answer. The smell was getting stronger and stronger.....

Alex stood in the clearing, she scensed him coming closer, but she still did not move. She only shook her head. "I thought you were different, you know that? I really did, but obviously I was wrong. You must really want to be forever in existence such has myself." Alex sighed and shrugged, "I really don't see why you would possibly want to though... Come on out Chase... I'm waiting."

Still now answer from chase, only another chuckle and another stronmg wiff of blood.

Alex started to get bored, she was tired of waiting for him. Alex swiftly turned around, lunged towards Chase, and gave him a nice whit-knuckled fist to his face. "Maybe that will stop your laughing," she said aggravated, althought it did feel pretty nice to hit someone again. Especially him.

But she did hit anyone. (HA!) She hit Chase's knife into a tree. She fell to the ground as Chase tripped her from behind and then held her to the ground.
"Am I still not a worthy rival for you? I could have taken you, but this was more fun."

Alex glared up at Chase but she had a few questions for him."Ah could have are the key words there, you could have but you didn't. And why is that Chase? Why did't you just finish me off? I'm sure that there are other reasons than fun. Tell me Chase, why are you letting me live? You have the upper-hand right now... I certainly can't do much to defend myself when your on top of me like this. Why Chase?" She loved playing with people's minds, they were so vulnerable, and most of the time easily confused. They were also easily persuaded. She figured she could use this to her advantage.

"Why kill you? And besides," Chase let her up. "I need help. Not even I can take down twenty plus vamps on my own. I need the help of one of their own kind. And, of course, I trust you. We've been together for how long now? Even if you hate me and I annoy you, I still think of you as, if not a freind, an ally. NOw, you still gonna help me betray your clan, or are you gonna chicken out?" Chase smiled as he pulled his knife from the tree. "Now you know why I covered it in blood."

Raven left Phoenixs shop and started to look for her friends. "they couldnt have gotten too far...they probably stopped to fight"

Chase saw that Alex was thinking.
"I leave you be right now, as I see you are tinking."
He apparated to Honeydukes and sat waiting for Raven.

Raven headed down the through the town until she saw chase "hey there, whats up?"

He walked over to her and kissed her.
"Not much. Just chasing down the vampire lord. You?"
