in the movie Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, its really stupid how obi-wan kills general grievous. I mean come on, a blaster???!!! its supposed to be a lightsaber battle!!! if anyone agrees with me, reply to this message!!!!! I mean, it takes away the whole star wars spirit!

Well, it WAS a lightsaber battle. If you remember, all 4 of Grievous's sabers got knocked out of his hands. And obi-wans fell when he was riding Boga.

Yes, it's lame but so is dedicating a thread to it. 😬

I didnt see anything worng with it. I thought it was quite funny to see his face blow up.

I liked seeoing sumone get killed in a diff. way by a jedi, bcuz WOOHOO a lighsaber. They're nothing special about seeing one get killed. It's always the same.

Besides, Grievous had 4 sabers, it would seem kinda weird, if he died by a guy who had only one.

Yeah, just as it was stupid for Indiana Jones to kill that Arab swordsman with a gun. He was suppose to fight him without having to use his gun.

Back to the thread...I liked the fact that they had Obi-Wan defeat him with a blaster, it mixed things up a bit.

Yeah. People in movies operate on the Honor System. If the bad guy attacks you with melee, you MUST respond with melee. If you are on opposing sides of a vast army, you must seek out your equal in combat and fight; the nearby combatants will widen the gap so you have plenty of swinging room. And no one will interfere with your battle.

Ok, dude, Grievous died by a blaster. So did half the Jedi in that movie. It's nice to leave the traditional saber kill for once, I'm glad they did it like that. Makes it a lot cooler and tense.

C'mon, if Obi didn't kill him with a blaster, he could have never said my ulitimate favorite line:
"So uncivilized."

Yeah, that line rather amused me. Hold on, why do the makers of these ridiculous threads post a stupid question/comment/statement, then like never show up again. It's like they watch us as they plan their evil plan of stupidity without saying a word in return.
