USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Well, you kill your one off wit that shot, Kyle.

But you can hear more coming...

(Plans, Eerin? We can't go on like this forever.)

This is very true.

(There's got to be another room to seal ourselves in...the cargo hold?)

Eerin will start Parrying all incoming attack, and Twin Attack again.

Cargo hold took a direct hit, I am afraid!

Great...

How about the engine room?

"The shield generator will be their primary target," Galahad says. "Once it is down...well, we won't let it come down."

How thick are the walls, and does Drakkon want our more militant Rebels on the walls?

(Ok, as soon as we can break free, we'll head for the nearest room that:
a. has a functioning door
b. has some room to fight in should the raptors get through
c. has no window/door to the outside

Hopefully we can wait them out until help comes or they get bored and go away.)

The walls are certainly thick enough to resist most forms of conventional attack. If you guys want to fight on the walls, Drakkon has no objection.

Drakkon rather thinks it is a bit academic to go for the shield generator if they are already into the city.

Well, Kyle... there are the maintenance ducts... not really 'rooms' as such...

"How so?"

What do the Imperials have that can blow through the walls?

(Let's go wherever we can. I don't think there's much choice at this point. At the least, hopefully it means they won't gang up on us.)

"Because in the city is in the city!"

Well, AT-ATs...

Of course.

"How would you stop their walkers?" Galahad asks. "That is their way into the City. Climbing the walls would likely take too long; you could shoot them down long before they made it up. We have explosives, but I don't think we would have enough, nor would it be practical."

He doesn't really have a plan to stop the walkers. He plans to kill them in the city; if they lose their manpower it doesn't matter what their machines do. But he has to fight at the walls in order that, when they do come through, they don't come through everywhere at once.

Could the shield somehow come into use against the walkers?

Also, do the stormtroopers have penalties for having to fire up the walls at the Osokans? Are the Osokans provided cover from being atop the walls?

Okidokey then! Kyle and Eerin are going to hole themselves up inside the maintenance ducts, which must be said is a bit of a struggle for Eerin.

-

Well, it would be bloody awkward to use the walkers against the wall before the shield is down. You doubt they will try.

And, well, you would have thought so.

Breathing hevily, Kyle looks at Eerin. "You don't look so good. Aren't you sleeping well?" he smiles broadly. "I think we'lll be okay in here for a little while. But if help doesn't find us soon, or these things don't get bored and leave, we're in trouble."

"Eh, I'll be fine," Eerin says. "I'm surprised you're still shooting after that crash."

"Yeah, I guess I should be thankful. I just hope we can get the ship up again someday. I'm afraid with what's going on we might have to abandon her."

"Worst case scenario?"
