Ok, at this point Vasilik will indeed make his move. As the newly arrived Raptors in the treeline leap out towards you guys, there is the sound of an ignition, and a cascade of blue energy cracles out of a whip up inside one of the trees they were besides.

Vasilik pivots downwards, dangling with one leg from a sturdy branch, and his neurowhip lashes around the neck and throat of one of the attackers. Vasilik roars as he lifts his whip, and the dangling raptor, into the air; neural energy pours into the creature.

That actually causes the attacking raptors to stop and turn on him, Eerin, so no action is performed from you as of yet.

Raptors roll poorly this time

When he reaches the Raptors, he will Twin Attack at two of them (unhit), with the same orders regarding Strike of the Master.

Parry two of the attacks that come his way.

Scarlet will pump her BGB shots into the Raptor hit for 12 that Cass and Rhys are not shooting at.

(Should someone help Vasilik? Or would 12 reptors just be an Osokan warm up?)

Lets worry about our raptors first.

Ohh, not good hero rolling this turn... most attacks only graze, and bith Sasha and Ranad miss! 4s and 2s don't cut it.

Xeth's here! But I misjudged his damage before, assuming he was Strength based. In fact, the base damage of his Pike on these guys is only two. You're not strong enough to really make it count.

Oh boy, the Raptors are pissed off this round... they've really torn into you. Trouble!

With an expert movement, Vasilik cuts the throat of the one he dangled, and jumps down on top of another. Rolling a 3 means he doesn't manage to crush it, thoigh, and all 11 tear into him. They roll very well as well, scoring five hits, needing 16s! Though imagine their annoyance when they find out that their base damage against him is two as well, as opposed to, say, seven, which is what it on Sasha.

I'm going to trust that my damage is NOT 125.

Rhys has spent frames dodging to the pint where he gets no attack this time.

Vasilik launches a Twin attack, his whip snaking around two foes.

Actually, I've been undervaluing these guys... their Combat score is actually ten. Been treatiung it as nine for the last couple of turns.

And they are still rolling really well against Vasilik! I've caught him up with things, done two rounds worth. He neuros two of them to oblivion.
