Eerin will have gone with Kyle into the Jungle to protect his friend.

"[I have a feeling we should have just waited...]" Eerin says, quietly.

Kyle sighs. "I just can't get this whole 'selfless' thing down. I leave dumb smugglers alone, they die. I follow an ally into the jungle to help pulling two others along...we die. I just hope those things don't play with their food." He looks around into the darkness. "Any bright ideas? I'm out." He chuckles, "Actually, I think I didn't even bring any in the first place."

"[Yeah, other than making an attempt at turning around...]" Eerin says, "[I'm pretty blank.]"

"Yeah, I think I left my brain back in the clearing, too," Rhys mutters, keeping an eye on his surroundings.

Can Rhys use Observation to try and find any tracks we've left, broken branches, crushed underbrush, anything like that?

Sadly, Rhys, the jungle is so thick as to leave no trace of passage, and in any case it is pitch black. Question- will you guys turn on torches?

Vasilik seems like he is trying to catch up with something. "Why did they chase me?" he asks.

(I don't think it can hurt much. I imagine the beasts here can smell us, and can probably get around in the dark. Of course, i've had a really good record of being wrong, so...)

"You cried out before you went into the Jungle," Sasha says. "We thought you may have needed help."

"Oh." He thinks about that. "Me need help?"

"It was the altruistic thing to do, I suppose," Sasha says. "To help a comrade, whether he needs the help or not."

"Silly off-worlders!" says Vasilik. "I champion of jungle! Lead Hunter of Lanzar. More trophies than any other being!"

Maybe someone could impress on him the notion of coming to get us out?

That's not the tack to take. Dying on the Hunt is an honourable end, he might think 'so be it'.

Perhaps leave out of the Doomed part, saying we just need to track them down. Play into his pride of being the best Hunter on Lanzar?

He's secure in that, you can tell.

Bit soft for Osokans, that. Think about what his prime motivations have been so far.

If he goes after us, there's the chance he could collect even more trophies...
