USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

You aren't going to lure out the Imperial army. Your job is to attack the camp.

And they sure as hell didn't seem afraid of your ship, Kyle.

Vasilik still says that so long as the way is clear, he can sort the situation.

Sounds good to me.

I suppose now we should be scouting for stormtroopers on patrol.

Also, Eerin would like to ask...er...well, have someone ask for him, since I doubt Osokan to Geonosian translating is rather hard...

How can we prevent the raptors from attacking us when they come storming through into the camp? We're obviously the weaker force here, and injured. They'd be rather tempted.

"Well, not to be in camp is way," says Vasilik.

(Well, my ship isn't moving around spitting fire, either, but point taken. Let's get the show on the road and kill Stormies.)

Well, nor is the Imperial camp. It's pretty inert.

Okay, Galahad is here. I've been pretty busy, sorry about that.

I might need to read up a bit so that I can continue planning on the City's defense.

Galahad does want to know if Drakkon will use the 'special' Osokan forces intended for Vader against the stormtroopers as well, whether or not Vader is present.

Well, possibly. They are reserved for the defence of the Guild Hall itself.

Well, looks like we're going to be looking for the patrols at the fringes of the encampment, see what we're up against.

Everyone's got Observation except for Eerin and myself, but it requires us to go nearer to get a better look, then I think only I should get any closer, since I have Intrusion. I can try to just roll off the stat.

In any case, it's not like they're hiding.

I believe I have the highest observation, so...

The three 'prongs' of this are getting in there, making sure you see how it all works, and then a silent means of removing said security.

Ah well, dammit, I have no intrusion...
Anyway I could climb a tree or something so I don't have to make an intrusion roll to get to the place where I can make a Observation roll?

I guess it's up to me then.

Scarlet will hush the others and begin to move in as quietly as possible.

All that effort, and yopu have to wonder what the point was. Imperial security here is appalling. They barely have any perimiter patrols at all- afraid of the Jungle, you reckon.

Still, the camp is huge. Row after row of trooper son parade. many in barracks. Nearer the centre, war machines of various types.

No air cover though.

Imperials never seem to have decent security. Good for us!

They DO have anti-aircraft emplacements at least, right?

And is there anything that needs clearing at all? Otherwise, Scarlet will head back and report that the way is more or less clear.

Well, they might have done if the Imperial players had done anything about it.

And no, the Imps aren't big on that, though AT-ATs and AT-STs can fire skyward.

You'll need to take out just a few guards but that is it.

No problem there. Do they travel in groups or are they dispersed and alone?

Patrols of eight.

Hmm. I'm sure it'd be easier if I wasn't the only person with Intrusion.

Could Scarlet try to get close enough so that firing guns would be impractical for them?

Someone would probably get a shot off.

Frustrating...

Perhaps I could lure this patrol into the Jungle and take care of them then?
