USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Started by Brit280 pages

"If you heard the Commissar accusing an important figure in the Senate was betraying the mission...oh, nevermind," Sasha says, seemingly frustrated. "I apologize again."

"I'd certainly think twice before assuming you could question me as if I were a suspect in a court of law instead of a member of the galactic Senate who just helped bring peace to this world" says Ardonel. "Accustomed to getting your own way with things, aren't you?"

(I know the Commissar is untouchable, but I wonder about the status of the Assassin? Surely the Imperials won't admit to having an Assassin on retainer? Even if he weren't doing so, making a claim that the Imperials were trying to assassinate Drakkon could carry some weight in the Senate.)

She doesn't carry a work permit that says "Assassin for Hire" you know. They can hire whoever they like on Imperial business, with the Commissar's authority.

The Commissar is taking off out of there as if someone just told him his house was on fire.

"I suppose. But I did not mean to be accusatory. I am so against having the Imperials storm into Lanzar City...right now that's completely illegal, but I know the Commissar is looking for a reason to make it legal. The Commissar himself just told me wanted to expose any crimes the government is behind so he can demolish the City. Wouldn't that worry you as it has me?"

And I still want Cass to tail him.
they don't know me, or what I look like or anything about me. So I think I'm safe.
Is that reasonable?

(I was talking about Arvus. With what he carries, it seems obvious he's an assassin. But, well, I see your point. Kyle will continue to hide until called upon.)

"What makes you believe the Commissar cares what you do or think?" asks Ardonel.

"He doesn't," Sasha says. "But he does care what a Senator that just brought peace to this world does or thinks. I hold you in very high esteem, Senator; I'm sure the Commissar would be peeved if you got in his way."

Sasha notices the Commissar suddenly bolting out of the building as if the Hunting Teams of Drakkon were after him.

"I apologize again, Senator Ardonel. I did not mean to insult you. Excuse me..."

Sasha heads to Ranad and asks what has happened with the Commissar.

"He was in a private meeting with parts of the Senatorial delegation, and then he suddenly tore out of there."

"Curious. Who was he meeting with?"

"I don't know, it was private."

"Damn. The Commissar was toying with me!"

The Duchess looks around for anyone that the Commissar has left behind, if anyone.

He's gone, and his bodyguard has gone, but Rylis, Arvus and some officers from his entourage have stayed, including that striking aide of his.

Also, those guys should be tailed if they leave..
Pick someone, and stick with em..

Aha!

The Duchess will move to make acquaintances with the Aide.

"Hello there," she says. "You must know what the Commissar is up to. He seems to have gone in such a hurry! I didn't even get a goodbye. What happened?"

She smiles.

"The Commissar is a very important man, and he has just set up a major planetary blockade. I am sure you xan appreciate that there are many demands on his schedule which cannot be predicted easily."

Sasha smiles as well.

"Oh, but of course. But I did happen to notice that he was in an important meeting with someone. I was wondering who that person was...maybe he could put in a few good words to the Commissar about me, if you catch my drift. He's rather striking, don't you agree?"

"He was meeting with Andran's security detail. The Commissar has been gracious enough to prove safe transport off the planet. Oh... and you are really not his type..."
