USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Sasha will take her leave of the Commissar.

Perhaps I should find Senator Ardonel? The Duchess will have Zalandos keep watch of the Commissar, though. She wants Ranad to keep watch of Arvus and Rylis, as well.

Ardonel is with other members of her delegation in one corner of the Guild Hall; easily found.

"Of course," says Drakkon.

"Of course."

Galahad paces a little.

"In my briefing, before my arrival on Lanzar, I was informed that there was a secondary goal here. I must stress to you that saving Lanzar is far more important before I say this. It is my primary concern.

"My Contact informed me that all hunts are recorded by the Guilds on a document, the name of which eludes me presently. This document is of vital importance to both the Rebellion and the Empire. Do you know of what I speak?"

"Senator Ardonel," the Duchess says, making a small curtsy to introduce herself. "I am Duchess Torvuelle of Naboo. May I speak with you?"

"Duchess... you are here with Senator Galahad, yes? Of course you may."

Sasha expresses her gratitude.

"Senator, I wish to express worry about the Commissar attempting to sabotage the efforts of the Senatorial mission here, as well as tarnishing your reputation. Has the Commissar attempted to form any dealings between the two of you?"

"That depends what you mean by 'sabotage'," says Ardonel. "He wanted the mission to vote against Lanzar autonomy, certainly. Lots of Imperial talk about terrorism and threats to public safety. But in the event, he's done nothing to actually impede the mission,. and now it is complete."

"The Commissar means to expose various- in his words- 'evils' that the Mission may have papered over," Sasha says. "He spoke to me of having made deals with you to expose these, which could cripple the Treaty regardless of whether the mission is complete or not. Has he done anything of the sort?"

Sasha will watch her reaction.

Her reaction is anger.

"You are accusing me of trying to sabotage the mission? Who the hell do you think you are, Duchess, to address an elected representative so! Scurry on back to your pampered homeworld."

-

"You are talking of the Record of Kileen," says Drakkon. "That document is of vital importance to one thing alone- my world."

"No, Senator! My apologies if I seemed insulting. I was merely acting on the words of that damned Commissar; I wish to ensure the effectiveness of the Treaty and the survival of Lanzar. Please, accept my apologies."

She gives a slight bow, humbling herself.

"We don't need royalty to ensure that."

"Yes, that's the one. I wish I could say the same, Guildmaster, but...the Rebellion seems to think that the Record of Kileen is the reason that the Empire is here, and feels that the information that the Record contains could be extremely beneficial to the Alliance.

"The Emperor wishes to destroy it, along with the whole of your people. The Rebellion wishes to keep it from the Emperor and attempt to make contact with the Jedi that may have evaded the Hunting teams."

"No," says Drakkon, simply.

Sasha sighs and looks slightly hurt. "I am only trying to help."

"Then you've got a lot to learn."

Galahad looks troubled.

"We can't even look at it?"

(Well... I guess we didn't even have as much time as I thought. I wonder if Kyle and Eerin should just confront the group. Flat out prevent them from going anywhere? I guess that would just cause trouble though.
As far as we know, the Imperials still don't have a justification to invade. What can they be doing right now that would fix that for them? I tend to believe that at least some of them are here for the Record of Kileen.
My question right now is should Us smugglers/troublemaker keep hidden, or reveal ourselves and get it all over with?)

(I would say no; that would be considered attacking important Imperial personnel; if we attacked or killed the Commissar, Rebel Sympathy would drop dramatically. It would give them justification for invasion; Rebels are here and being harbored. They don't know that for sure, yet. Well, they know, but they can't prove it.)

"No," says Drakkon, just as simply.

"Why?" Galahad asks, matching the simplicity.
