Ok, tactics deployed by each side are becoming clear.
The defenders are mounting a uniform defence of the walls. There is no apparent concentration of distribution anywhere; the defenders are mostly rifle armed.
The attackers are moving for a concentrated assault on the south and west arms of the city. The assault is spearheaded by AT-ATs.
Defenders, you may change the location of your tactical players in response to this.
THE BATTLE OF LANZAR BEGINS
Lanzar City looks like a dirty grey and brown cross on the landscape. It seems to lie within an island surrounded by green, the area around it cleared from the vast jungle that goes on forever in every direction. Only the brilliant blue of the great river to the east of the city breaks the colour scheme, running north and south.
A narrow burnt channel shows the path the Imperial forces took through the jungle. From this channel, all the forces poured out to swell into the clearing around the city
Now they form a horseshoe around it, from north, south and west. Over the last hour, elements from the west and south of this horseshoe have advanced forwards to fighting positions.
The Imperials have sent in their armour. Four legs and two legs, the majority of their walkers have advanced forwards to this great assault on the west and south arms. They are accompanioed by many stormtroopers but the bulk of the infantry has stayed back in the horseshoe. The north and east arms remain free of attackers. To the west and south, assault could come at any moment the Imperials choose.
Tactical players, you have now set out to your destinations to see the approaching fight. Everyone in in position.
The Imperials are seeking to win this battle inside 15 hours.
Five minutes ago, the shield finally failed. The artillery units that were firing into the city have not withdrawn and are joining the attack.
This battle now begins.
