Ush, was Strike of the Master used on one of my attacks?

Also...Jaiden doesn't have Armor, unless he's not wearing the Hi-Tech Armor, just an average set. Janthis has the Armor.

He's a stormtrooper! He doesn't fight in his pyjamas you know.

And no you didn't. Remember every 12 frames is the rollover for stuff like that.

Arvus blasts with his railgun at Kyle, who dives out of the way, though he is still in the blast. He then, unexpectedly, dashes over to where Janthis was downed.

Kyle, Rhys and Cass all blast at Lyle, using up spare frames to do so. Not great rolling, not terrible, only Rhys and Cass score hits. Lyle starts to make his way up the Pit; three frames out of six covered so far.

Rylis, unhappy with the spike gun, flames Drakkon instead. Well, she hits, and he is ablaze. Coll blasts at Drakkon himself, not much good, but he does dodge Drakkon's attack again.

Eerin has taken a stormtrooper hit, which was bound to happen eventually.

Guys. I think we should retreat down the pit.
So Lyle doesn't close with us.

(Yeah, I figured out in the open spot wouldn't be safe forever. Any specific plan? They're starting to make a come-back. I mean they just increased their damage on Drakkon 500% 😱 )

Stay away from Lyle.

Other than being hit by a stormtrooper, there seems to have been no movement in the Jaiden-Eerin battle...?

Unless there's some way to, I dunno, get him into the Pit once he's up top?

If we can't do that, though, yes need to stay away from him.

(We three could just wait for him to get up here and all gang up on him. Maybe with a good enough reault, we could throw him in... After thinking about it, I don't see what good we will be taking out guns down the hill. Another Double for Lyle. Dodge Arvus.)

Just keep in mind that he's got a Combat rating of 13 and he's got Combat tricks.

Oh, and answered my own question; I think you're waiting for the frame gap to close, Ush, so you didn't move me along yet.

Ok, back to the grind- and to answer queries from both sides, yes, some people were ahead on frames so their actions were withheld; tothers needed to make them uo so acted teice.

Note that this megafight is probably the last time frames will ever be used, so deal with them whilst you can.

Not all of them gave orders but I am assuming the rebel fire on Lyle continues. This time Kyle hits but not the others.

Lyle, you have reached the top of the Justice Pit! And hencr you can see the extremely vertical and dark-shoruded Pit that is bilt into the top of it. You doubt you want to fall in there.

Eerin is just getting ready for a melee fight when Jaiden tries to flame him instead. Eerin dodges and the flame blast misses by milimetres. Close one!

Rylis has flamed Drakkon again.

Coll wants to know if he can use Fortune to escape. No, you can use Fortune to help the rolls you need to pass to get out of there but Fortune is not 'magic teleport'. And the rolls you need to get out of there are combat ones. Someone should have gone for theose Hunters if you wanted out.

Drakkon appears to have tired of playing and lands a direct hit on Coll, against which Coll has to make a death check; passed. Penalty on you is now -2, Coll.

Arvus stabilises Janthis. What a nice guy!

Team Record-Stealing... you have reached the entrance.

Between you and the outside now is the long, thin corridor that was the entryway, and that it is ging to be a bastard to bring that thing down, even in the best of circumstances.

The large shadow looming at the far side of the entryway, blocking the way outside, means that this is far from the best of circumstances.

Uh oh...

"Who's there?" Scarlet asks, taking her hands off of the Record and reaching for her pistols.

Eerin, twisting out of the way of the flames, comes at Jaiden with a blow to the side as he makes a roll along the ground to get behind him.

(Cut and Roll!)

(More doubleshot for Lyle, dodge player attacks.)

There isn't an unnatural breathing noise coming from this looming figure, is there? 😖

(I think it's Vasilisk.)

That might be worse than Vader. With Vader, he's a cold and merciless killer. But with Vasilik, I'm going to have to explain to the lovable oaf why we're taking the Record of Kileen...and then he's going to eat us.

"So," says Vasilik. "Here we have it."

Scarlet, though her pistols are in hand, does not raise them towards Vasilik.

"You have to understand," Scarlet says. "So much valuable knowledge and history was going to be destroyed. I didn't want to do this, but I have no choice."

"Our history. Not yours. And how can you have no choice?"
