USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Started by Bespin Bart280 pages

Eerin is going to be cruel, now...

Eerin flicks the end of his halberd downwards, the sparking tip of the electro-halberd jabbing into Jaiden's chest. (Quick Attack)

"[Osokans! Too me!]" Eerin roars, attempting to rally the Osokans to him to protect himself from the stormtroopers.

Then, he twists his weapon around and brings down the heavy head of the halberd into the same spot. (Coup de Grace)

Hopefully he will try to dodge both...hehe...

Use Strike of the Master with the Coup de Grace if it misses by three or less or the outcome is less than three. If it misses by more than three or the outcome is three or more, then use the Strike of the Master with Quick Attack. The rules for using it with Coup de Grace are the same for the QA.

Scarlet will summon Sasha and Ranad, to show them the Record and then get it on the move to the starport...

...which is how far away, again?

Oooh, quite a way, and through Imperial lines.

Would earlier organisation have been very helpful? Yes.

Spraying Lyle, then... Damn Rylis.

Dodge one attack.

Rylis is being removed from the game as lana is bored with it.

A general note here- if you are unhappy with one of my games, PLEASE stop mplaying. Don't keep playing and keep moaning about it. Aside from being heartbreakingly unfair on me, creating content for you just to have it derided back in my face, it's also unfair on your fellow players who may be dependant on you but you lack the motivation to give situations your full attention.

I have no problem with people not liking my games and hence not playing. I have a huge problem with them not liking it- vocally- and staying in. That badly affects the game.

I'll admit to being bored with this episode more than once... but there's no way I'm simply giving up. I want to win, and I'll do everything in my power to make that happen.

(I don't think the issue is simply being bored. No game can draw everyone in 100% of the time, at least not in my opinion. The issue is the attitude with which it is dealt. I prefer action and intrigue mostly, but that doesn't mean I don't pay attention/participate in the rest. I at least don't cry about it in general chat. We all should know the giant ammount of his personal time Ush puts into these games. He's 5 hours different from my time zome and his posts come in from before I go to work to sometime well after my dinner, so those must be some really early and really late posts for him. Most important, he forces no one to play them, and I think that is the point. So thanks Ush.
On a lighter note, I think Kyle will have a mental breakdown at the loss of someone to torment. Just kidding. But really, in terms of gameplay was Rylis withdrawn/defeated/killed or did she actually not exist. Just curious for future smart alek comments Kyle may feel like making.)

(Oh, and Kyle will switch to repaying Arvus for the shot. Double shot and dodge player attacks.)

lana seems minded to apologise so I shall consider the matter.

But yes, we all get bored with games. I certainly do (you cannot have a plotline like Melkus Doon and be happy sitting on the denoument for more than a year). There's a difference between fluctuating interest and declaring that you have been bored for the entire game, which makes one wonder why the heck you stuck with it, not to mention being a very broad insult to the game maker.

No offense meant, Ush, there were definitely some parts of the game that seemed to slow down to a dull pace (though this was probably due to the Rebels doing less than they should have!).

But overall, I very much enjoy the games...

So yeah, we definitley should have looked into Record nabbing way, way earlier. Like, when we got here. Now we have to come up with some sort of nutty plan that will somehow get the Record to our ships without the Osokans or the stormtroopers seeing us/murdering us, OR that gets us all killed, OR we just abandon the plan.

(Can you nab a skiff?)

I doubt it. We've asked about the skiffs before; they've all been destroyed, as far as we know.

For getting it across enemy lines, if all the Rebels meet up with Galahad, we should be able to get through no problem. The destroyed Guild Hall should be our meeting place, once Kyle, Rhys, Eerin, and Cass have finished up with the battle there. And then Galahad can say that it was a gift from the Guildmaster or something along those lines.

However, the Osokans will not want us to take it. If we encounter any, they will be royally pissed.

Lyle has successfully outflanked the attack.

Eerin wishes to rally the Oaokans. Normally I would remind that you can either fight or command but not both, but it doesn't mattter- not one of them can understand a single word out of his weird clicks, so he may as well just get on with the fighting., which he has put a lot of effort into anyway.

Coll is desperately dodging Drakkon; stays out of his way this turn. Rylis then comes in and spike guns him! Rylis rolls a 12, an Outcome of 1, giving a base damasge of five... for six damage minus Drakkon's Strength. Which is to say, she may as well be breathing on him for the difference it made.

Kyle is going for Arvus. Blam! Rhys is going for Lyle. Blam!

Eerin makes a Quick Attack on jaiden for a dead-on blow. Trouble is, Eerin isn't actually that strong and Jaiden is armoured. Eerin isn't making much of an impression. His next blow, a coup de grace on his prone opponent, goes better, but the myth of Eerin's close combat domination is on the waver. Strange combo btw- taking natural weaponry but then loading up on armed Combat Tricks so that you never use it.

Some troopers are getting into this combat zone, btw, but they are dying faster than they are arriving.

I have a widening frame differential. People under 70 frames, please post multiple actions to cover the gap, else I might need to dock frames.

Ranad, Sasha and Scarlet, you have spent these last few minutes painfully dragging the record up through the hall of Records to the entryway.

There is a loud and obvious rumbling and banging as you draw closer to the top- the bombardment has resumed.

...you know, you're right. I don't remember why I did that...

Eerin will dodge Jaiden's next attack, or Parry it if it happens to be Parryable, since he has his vibroblade out.

That is going to make things incredibly difficult...but why the sudden change of heart, I wonder?

Let's just keep pushing it up...

Rhys gestures to Lyle. "That one's going around the attack... I don't like it," he says to Kyle and Cass.

Spend my extra frames shooting at Lyle, and one dodge for a named attack.

"Kyle looks where Rhys indicates and sees the Imperial skirting the bettle's edge. "I see him!" he shouts back and changes his stance. Zeroing in on the new threat, he takes aim and fires. "But keep an eye peeled for whatever the assassin with the railgun is up to!"

(Double shot for Lyle this time, dodge Arvus if he attacks.)

Ush, was Strike of the Master used on one of my attacks?

Also...Jaiden doesn't have Armor, unless he's not wearing the Hi-Tech Armor, just an average set. Janthis has the Armor.

(Correction, Janthis had the armor. He doesn't need it anymore.)

Ok I will also heed the advice and take 2 shots at Lyle...
(Lets make him think twice for trying to engage us..)
