Hmm. Eerin could take over driving for Kyle instead of going to do it himself, if that works.
The best people for doing hacking jobs would be Kyle and Rhys (from smuggler's experience) and Scarlet (highest Fix-It score besides Cassius). Eerin can cover for Kyle, but that leaves Rhys and Scarlet still driving the convoy.
Could Osokans take over their driving? Thing is, we wouldn't have anyone to bluff to the Imps, should they stop us.
As for the manifest forgery...we have to do a good job of it. Otherwise, it is easily spotted and then we're screwed. I know from experience, only I was doing the screwing-over as Xeth last game. Took me a moment, but what has to match is weight and size and so on of the cargo.
So, what do we have...a bunch of guns, some light catapults? We need to replace that on the manifest with something that would match in weight and size.
(That's why Kyle wanted to go back. BUT, I'm wondering why traders like us would have the true goods listed in the first place. Wouldn't smugglers already have doctored the manifests for just this occaision? At any rate Kyle will hand over the controls, slip off, and head back.)
Kyle sighs at his friend. "Eerin, take over here, will ya? Like the saying goes, 'if you want something done right'..." Kyle comms the convoy. "Convoy! I forgot something back at my ship. Just continue on and I'll meet up with you later." Then, to Eerin, "Wish me luck."
He jumps off and is gone.
(We can recover from this, no big deal. With the majority of the Imps darkside players,(Sorry GK) we can be reasonably confident they are in disarray as well. I would imagine that if the convoy was going to be stopped, they would have done it by now. Kyle will take care of his ship, then Rhys' if he has to. Then he'll back Sasha up.)
Yes indeed, this is all about the Imperials not finding out that weapons are coming into the planet.
Or more precisely, about not giving them firm evidence of that.
And yes indeed, a convincing substitute is needed, now that cargo has clearly been coming off your ships (although a mistake there would only get you personally into trouble, rather than exposing the weapons). Don't worry, though, good rolls will take care of that.
Which leaves one area left unaccounted for.

(Crap. Any Ideas? As far as changing the logs, I was thinking I could change the weapons into... hunting tropies. A collection of stuffed beasts from around the galaxy that the Guildmaster bought out. The beasts are large and small, and sometimes come packed in pieces. That should take care of size and weight, along with a stab at why it would be the Guildmaster's business.)
Kyle is thinking hard as he returns to the ships. What could he possibly claim instead of weapons? What could a prominent Osokan be interested in besides guns? Then it hit him and he grinned... "Yeah, that should work." he mumbled to himself and chuckled.
Ok, the convoy is moving on rather unsteadily at this point.
The rest of you have made it back to the starport, and you can get going on your business and...
... Kyle, wait. You're being watched. You are not sure where- no-one is behind you. But years of instinct have made you suspicious- something was wrong, out of place, when you were heading back, and you only picked it up subconsciously.
Wait, the feeling seems to have gone now. You weren't followed into the starport. Hmm.
(Kyle wants to pause just for a minute and think really hard about his trip back to the starport. I don't know if that is some kind of roll he can make? Observation(9), maybe?)
Kyle stopped for a minute. That feeling he'd just had, although gone now, disturbed him. He thought hard for a second. Was he being watched? Or was he just being paranoid? No, that's not his style; but it is HER style. He couldn't be sure, and he had a mission to complete, so he knew he had to think fast.
(If Kyle actually remembers something more, something useful, he'll alter his plan. Otherwise he'll continue on, but keeping a little better eye out on his way.)
