Actually, BB, Vera has a point. Even if we do have the same destination, taking separate routes in transit makes us less conspicuous, and if one person ends up getting caught, the others are still safe.
Now, how else might the Imps find out about the weapons? All the Osokans that know are currently helping move everything. Basic suspicion should be eliminated if we split up. Our two bounty hunter pals don't know what we have.
Does the spaceport registry keep tabs on the cargo of each ship, Ush?
I came up with a good idea? Well, I'm officially part of the group now, eh? 😛
Scarlet wouldn't be against driving out of the column and driving in circles while the other skiffs go to the charnel and pack up and get the hell out of there, and then I show up after everyone's left. Could leave them puzzled for awhile, wondering where the other shipments went.
(I like that. The part about splitting up. Vera, you have no need to even show up at the charnel. Let's all the players split up randomly. We have to watch out, though to not have the breakup itself seem suspicious. All the interest we've drawn and suddenly half the convoy runs away. We should try to blend in to different traffic patters, and at different times. Kyle wants to know if he's noticed a garbage/dump site anywhere. If so that's where he'll go.
What else are we missing? I worry about the spy thing too, but I don't know what we'd do about it. Also I just had a worry about our cover story. 'Guildmaster's Business' is something the Imps might be very interested in. That might actually draw attention, instead of turning it away. I was, at the time, more worried about fooling nosy locals than the Imps itself. *smacks forehead* Oh well, too late now. What else can Imps run into that would tip them off about the guns?)
Kyle, wearing a false grin, turns his head to Eerin. "I don't like this game anymore. Something's not right, let's just dump this trash somewhere. Maybe it'll look like we were just tagging along in the Guildmaster's caravan. Should we risk a call to the others?"
Okay, guys, that's it, then. We need to forcibly remove the information from the Spaceport's registry.
Since Kyle and Rhys are both hauling garbage, and both got to the registry in the first place, I think those two should split from the convoy, go back to where we looked at the registry earlier, and go about changing or destroying the data on our ships.
And finally I realized a vital error before it hurt my team! So is that "missing important things" thing just a Darkie trait? I thought it was a player problem with all involved... 😛
Yay for Dak!
Still some issues though. If Rhys and Kyle are BOTH hauling garbage...where's the stuff you guys were getting off the ship?
And why couldn't we just ask Drakkon to have our cargo records wiped? I'm sure the Duchess or the Senator could have something done.
Also, you could take your junk decoys back to your ships and lock them up in there, so that they would not only have to break the law to infiltrate, but have to go through a bunch of effort to do so, only to find junk. That's assuming that you guys don't kick them out or have them arrested.
(To clarify a few points. Unless I missed something, Rhys and Kyle are transporting NOTHING of value. in fact, none of the players are. We are just carriny nameless junk and spare parts as a decoy shipment. Rhys, Eerin and I can double back and take care of our own ship registries, but I'm not sure if we'll be able to change the Guildmaster's ships regristries. WHat else?)
Nice save Dak, See us good guys try to realize our mistakes before they bite us in the ass...
OK not only the port...
Who else could have had access to our gun stuff?
Lets go through it step by step.
Ok we bought OUR guns from our various shady places, and Drakkon bought his from the hutts. I think we're safe here, because they would have no reason to go looking for these people if these guns supposedly don't exist with us.
We transported them here. We did all our transporting by hand, But Drakkon did not. This needs to be fixed. Go bribe the pilot or make sure they leave NOW and not talk to imps or something.
They sat at the port. We are dealing with Port records now. So that is realized and in the process of being worked out.
Transport, In progress and I don't think the Osokans will talk, and I'm not sure the Stormies like the constant threat of being gutted when around them...
Wherehouse. We need to make sure no-one knows whats in there and who's stuff it is. After I finish wiretapping I can deal with this seeing as I'm already there.
Ok go!
Kyle, I thought the point of us even joining the convoy was to get the stuff we have into the charnel as well?
Scarlet is preoccupied with helping move Drakkon's stuff, maybe someone of a more social disposition can handle the port registries for us and Drakkon's friends. Someone with a lot of money. *jabs a thumb towards the Duchess*
Yay, a task for me.
So, what can I do here? I'm social and I have money, but what we need is to have the registries changed or erased. It would help if the registry stuff wasn't staffed by Osokans. They don't seem at all interested in money whatsoever.
Is there a reason for that, Ush?
Anyways, Sasha will head down to the place where they keep ship registries, accompanied by Captain Ranad, her bodyguard.
