If they are not willing to tell you, it is because their suppliers don't want just anyone to know. Which, if you think about it, amkes it a very bad idea to force it out of them. The only one with the right tack here is Lyle.

It's the suppliers that are important- why would they want to tell you?

Only these guys can tell you that. But as I was intimating, force it out of them and that doesn't help you, because the suppliers won't be forced.

You just need a straight answer to the question "Why are you interested?" And for that you just need the simplest possible answer.

Something along the lines of 'We're interested in making money, like yourselves.' ?
