USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

Melkor looks in delight as all besides him seem to be afraid to speak.

"Amusing isn`t it. I wonder if poor Lomax survives this."- He whispers to his assistant.

Ulrand is silent as he doesn't have much to say. He hasn't incurred Vader's wrath yet, and he is not intent to do so.

Trebeis remains silent as well. Sitting at attention, and drinking in the other's reactions and composure. The attack was not in his jurisdiction, and he has nothing to add insofar.

General Lmoax

breathing

Why were you not prepared for this attack?

"Well," says Lomax, sweating, "I didn't actually have any information before me descitign such a specific threat in the jungle..."

You knew the jungle contained dangerous life forms

"Yes! Err, yes, quite. And deploying troops in the jungle is always going to lead to some casualties. But I took the view that manpower casualties were of no consequence!"

You have lost far more than manpower, General

"I know! I know1 But I believe the material losses would have been far less significant had they been deployed differently. I think you need to ask General Coll about that. The deployments were his idea."

Gaze of Death is on Coll

You expect me - one person - to take down Drakkon?

Even as Jedi we have trouble with one Osokan Captain, let alone a Lodge Master, let alone the Master of the Lodges! 😛

How about looking for an escape passage, Ush? Perhaps I wouldn't even need to enter the Lodge.

Hang on, you trying to get into the Guild Hall or the Hall of Records?

Lyle, as I said it would be an entire commando team at your disposal, plus Arvus and Rylis. But we need a good plan!

If you are unable to gain information, I can simply take Arvus and Rylis with me next time I am in the Guild Hall. But not you, because I think that so far our enemies don`t know your identity. You could check earlier posts in this thread for descriptions.

And I think I can consult with Vader on this.

"I based such suggestions on the results of the prior Raptor attack," General Coll says. "Should they have attacked again, they would have made no killings whatsoever. However, I did not possess prior knowledge of the life forms in the jungle. That was not my concern; securing the landing site was not my assignment, and I merely lended advice to Lomax."

What was the cause of the raptor attack, General?

The Guild Hall, Ush.

Okay Melk. I'll try 😛

Ah, ok.

In that case, in what capacity are you attmepting to be in there?

(Since Ushgarak let me join back in, I thought I could be the commander who General Lomax left me to look over the camp.)

Jaiden looked around the scattered camp, by now the victims of the raptors were carried away to stop any infection or diseases that might spread. Jaiden sighed. He heard that the meeting with Lord Vader was scheduled right now. Due to the Empire's failure in the jungle, he knew that someone, would pay. Darth Vader wasn't someone to give mercy. Truly, he beileved Lomax was the one at fault. However, General Coll, the one he remembered from his descent on the planet, could also be in an uneasy situation with the Dark Lord, because he was the one who gave Lomax the deployment advice. Jaiden favored Coll more, efcourse. Making an expedition into the jungle was as stupid as sending an Ewok to fight a Rancor. Anyways, Jaiden knew that action must be taken, and so did the Generals. He knew a plan was beginning to form on how to invade the city, and he would wait until the plan was released to him and other commanders. Jaiden would check if everything is going on alright in the camp, and then wait from further orders.

Oh, nice to see you back, Jaiden! Two commanders are always better than one, we really need some quality personnel(though we could avoid some losses if you returned slightly earlier). But main action is still ahead of you!

Perhaps one of player Commanders could lead the commando team I ordered to be prepared to capture Drakkon? Is Atar` senior Commander of any quality, Ush?

And where are Rylis and Arvus?

"I do not know, my Lord," Coll replies. "That was not my responsibility."

I could always lead the team, Melkor.

There have been no raptor attacks where I have left the Tie Fighters, General

He's mightily unimpressed by you trying to duck responsibility, so obviously that's not germane.

Gaze of death is still on Coll

Whohoooo

I've got back-up now sweetness

(Quick Rex, Tell him you'll make up for it or something 😛. IT looks like blaming everything on Lomax doesn't help)
