Ok then Janthis is in the camp getting his gun ready and making sure his troops are reading for the fight ahead.

I think it's just myself and Rylis.

As far as I know, yep.

Ush, concerning your comments about Sasha and Esgabath`s status among nobles, as I remember from your earlier comments nobility from Tasker`s Crown is rather diffrent from those of Alderaan, Naboo and similar places, which are more egalitarian and democratic, similar to modern european nobility in a way. But those from Tasker`s Crown are one of the most traditional people in the galaxy, and they behave propably more like european nobility from 18th century or earlier. So if Sasha was from Tasker`s Crown, she would likely be not allowed to wonder like this, she would have to stay home and wait for her father to arrange a marriage. So I am not sure if she would have that much problem with Melkor being a renegade, though him serving Empire would be a much bigger issue.

Though in case it is relevant, I came with some more information about Esgabath`s family- his father, Moireen Esgabath, had the title of the Castellan of Erengard, which is world subject to Antonon( so he was vassal to the Voivode of Antonon). His elder brother `s name is Einar, he has pretty violent personality and is traditionalist , Melkor considers him an arrogant and close-minded buffon( though note that it is his personal opinion.) Einar married Anaztasia Kuylen, woman who had an affair with Melkor, which is one of the reasons they hate each other.

But returning to present times, I would like to pay a bit of attention to Commander Traviss.

"Situation in this city has finally started to degenerate. What do you think of our chances to take it in a day, Commander?"

She's still nobility, though. You've left nobility for the Empire.

Oh dear, more Kuylen...

Would the boarding groups be members of Ulrand's squadron or marines etc. from the Star Destroyers?

They would be Stormtroopers based on the Deviator.

Ulrand's squadron is probably flitting around being intimidating to anyone who is considering running...

Hooray for intimidation! 😄

Ou-rah!

Arvus will keep checking in with his probe...

Well, he SHOULD be acting professional, and doing his job of helping group and secure them....

But thats whilst the captain is looking. =P

Exactly. 😗

Yes, Stormtroopers will do the boarding.

Re: naboo. Yes, the Boyar have little respect for Naboo these days. They elect their Queens. what the hell is that? It's not as if there is no Democracy in Tasker's Crown- there is in fact just enough to make Charnel qualify as a Republican world in the old days; their Senator, in particular, is elected with an open franchise, though there never was a Senator who was not also endorsed by the Boyar. But what the hell is the point of a Queen if she is only elected? It is, by definition, a hereditary title, meaningless without ties of blod. Elect counsellors, spokespersons, chancellors, Seneschals... but you cannot elect someone into the nobility. Grrr. And so on.

"We'll need to burn our way through, sir" says Travis. "Nothing must be left standing. Every building could be a fortress. We'll leave nothing left. Get out the way!" he adds, smacking a dimunitive trader to one side.

Travis has organised his men quite well to get you through the crowd as fast as he can, considering he can't draw arms Imuch as he wants to). You are finally through to the base of the Guild Hall.

Speak of the devil- the Duchess is coming down to meet you.

(Though I assume Queen is stil elected out of nobility? Well, Esgabath certainly has nothing but contempt for democracy, but he disagrees that rulership should be solely hereditary, he believes in authoritarian rule of most capable individual, in example himself. And fact that he is banished doesn`t mean that he cannot consider himself a noble.)

Seeing Duchess aproaching, Commisar quickly takes his Aide aside.

"Sareitha, Duchess will try to delay me. I would like you to go ahead and find Senator Sartorus. Tell him I need to speak with him urgently, it is of great importance. If he refuses, imply that he can get benefits from helping me, like I already mentioned, even higher position in the Senate."

Than he turns to Arvus: "Go with Lieutenant, you can see more of the Hall this way."

With rest I will post in conversation thread.

Nope! Queen (or, presumably, King) can be anyone at all so long as they win the vote.

(But they are usually nobility? In Poland we had free elections between 16th-18th century, but nobility, which was 10% of country`s population, usually voted for someone from royal family).

It's below the Guild Hall, right?

Well, I assume there's more than one direct entrance - a back door, for deliveries, maybe? Or even some ventilation systems.

What about this post, Ush?

Amidala was not any form of nobility before she became Queen.

(Basically, GL wanted the romanticism of a royal title, but inside a free and proper democracy. Weird)

It's not a warehouse, it doesn't take deliveries; there probably is some equivalent to a ventiliation system but not big enough to move around in.

Ush, it seemed that Satrorus was pretty much on the fence when I spoke with him?

Rylis will be sticking with the Commissar and playing bodyguard.
