USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

No, Andran put the request in, Vader just didn't stand in its way.

Commisar is taken aback for a short moment, than responds to his Aide:

"So it seems we cannot do anything about this? In this case we have diffrent issues to solve....you remember our discussion concerning what happened to Matadan? If you have time you could pursue it, Darling, first check how Osokans execute criminals and traitors. We shall stay in touch." I assume conversation is not delaying Commisar since we are walking rather than runnning?

Indeedy so.

Good, it means I am not totally wasting time with this highly irritiating trip....

(I hope I am not overusing her, but I am pretty much alone in this political plotline it seems... actually I noticed that players do not pay much attention to allies in your games. Can I make it more useful by paying significant attention to my ally and having large amount of interactions , like I am trying to do?)

She can certainly get a lot of work done for you, yes.

Two hours until... well, zero hour.

So how long it could take for Drakkon to know that armies are marching? I assume he could take me hostage at this point?

Hopefully you can get something important out of Sartorus. The Rebels will have a great deal of sympathy after my assault if they don't...

How long will take the Army to get through the jungle? A day, was it?

You think the Osokans might take a little while to suss it. As for anyone aiding them... depends on how well they are doing things. Either way, you'd want to be well off this world.

You'd say about a day, yes. The timing issues with the game stop once a justified invasion starts, though.

One thing I noticed when I was speaking with Duchess is that Rebels didn`t pay attention to two non-Andran Commision Senators before.... I think I confused her when I implied that I am making deals with Senator Ardonel, who was actually the more anti-Imperial one out of those two.

Oh, and now Commisar contacts Rylis/Arvus.

"How is your task proceeding? Have you made any useful observations regarding Drakkon`s defences? And any track of the Rebels? It is likely that they are still engaging in illegal activities. And please consult with Sareitha before doing something risky. She has my full authority."

Ush, if operation to seize Drakkon doesn`t go well, can I blame it on Atar?

How goes Lyle's search for a way into the Hall of Records?

Have you tried anything new since I mentioned about the ventiliation system?

-

Doubtful, Melkor. Everyone saw you propose the operation and insist upon it when warned it as very difficult.

By the way Ush, this guide I recruited is in Hall with my Aide. I made him know that he won`t get any money if he runs yet. And he is quite safe in my group.

But Atar is executing it, and is in charge of the details, with Lyle`s team aiding him. I even mentioned that Atar can do it a bit later if the risk is too great. I will speak with him more on Victorious.

And good Lyle is back. Esgabath trusts Agent Provocateur, who is more connected with Empire military, much more than 2 criminals, no matter how good they are.

By the way, in this situation I am keeping firm track on time, Ush, as those 2+ hours are the last chance I can do anything at Lanzar. Inform me if 20 minutes pass.

And do we have have some leads for finding the rest of the weapons? This is why i was so keen that Arvus tracks the rebels.... keeping track on them could help us get an excuse on invasion. On the other hand, Rebels are likely to keep the track as well....

From my experience and political savy, Sartorus will likely keep his promise and share his knowledge when I give him this Commision seat? He wouldn`t have made such a career with breaking deals. And this one is major one. And wouldn`t Senate mission be coming to starport and leaving from there?

And capturing Drakkon alive was always one of the major secondary goals for this mission.... there was the talk of the special operations from the beginning, and there were three ideas- retrieving the Senate Mission- now irrelevant, sabotaging shield generator and capturing Drakkon. Since the last one could give both political and military benefits, Esgabath is most interested. Though ideally this whole deal should include evidence that warrants trial on Drakkon.

With the weapons in the various Guild Halls, it will be near impossible to make anything of that within time.

And yes, Sartorus isn't about to betray the Commissiariat unless he has a REALLY clever plan.

Yes, the mission will leave from the starport.

So I could possibly meet with him in starport if I am short on time? But I would prefer to make it- if random factors are involved I could spend Fortune. I haven`t spend any in this game yet? I think I am most lucky Imperial.

What can I do to make precautions against his possible betrayal? Or is Andran using his influence to halt this appointment a threat as well?

Oh, and I am seriously considering arresting Klinge-Faust and Duchess if they don`t leave with Senate Mission. Ush, what if they are in the city while it is invaded? It depends on justification for invasion, I assume, regarding the Symphathy Loss for Senator being possibly harmed?

You wouldn't have grounds to arrest him, really. Besids, he can create a dozen reasons based on the whole treaty thing about why he might stay on as an observer.

But if there is justified invasion he stays on his own risk? And how big of a fish is Sasha compared to renowned Senator? Could I get away with interogating her?

Are my other concerns valid? I would certainly like to make this Mandragos Commision deal fullproof and final.

Yup, it would certainly be his own risk. Besides, if it is during the invasion itself, you won't even be there to arrest him.

As the mission was successful, Andran wouldn't have any grounds. It's all worked out rather well for Sartorus.
