No they haven't because they didn't want to give the game away like that.

Okay, I edited my post.

Well I'm ready for action.

Just so people know, I am away this weekend so we begin on Monday.

Pity, since i have unlimited online access this weekend, and may have difficulties next week.

My flight is Monday.

Meanwhile, the General here has a great deal of access. Yipee.

THE BATTLE OF LANZAR BEGINS

Lanzar City looks like a dirty grey and brown cross on the landscape. It seems to lie within an island surrounded by green, the area around it cleared from the vast jungle that goes on forever in every direction. Only the brilliant blue of the great river to the east of the city breaks the colour scheme, running north and south.

A narrow burnt channel shows the path the Imperial forces took through the jungle. From this channel, all the forces poured out to swell into the clearing around the city

Now they form a horseshoe around it, from north, south and west. Over the last hour, elements from the west and south of this horseshoe have advanced forwards to fighting positions.

The Imperials have sent in their armour. Four legs and two legs, the majority of their walkers have advanced forwards to this great assault on the west and south arms. They are accompanioed by many stormtroopers but the bulk of the infantry has stayed back in the horseshoe. The north and east arms remain free of attackers. To the west and south, assault could come at any moment the Imperials choose.

Tactical players, you have now set out to your destinations to see the approaching fight. Everyone in in position.

The Imperials are seeking to win this battle inside 15 hours.

Five minutes ago, the shield finally failed. The artillery units that were firing into the city have not withdrawn and are joining the attack.

This battle now begins.

Arvus will get his rail gun ready, glaring bitterly at the damned City.

"I can't wait 'til it's demolished," he says to Rylis and Lyle. "If we see Drakkon, I'll hang back for covering fire. You both know I'm crap up close. I'll leave it up to you two to really put him down."

"Yes, we've seen that already. But then again, that is why I am here..." Rylis replies.

Janthis grabs his Shrapnel Grenade Launcher and his other weapons. The city looked almost like a deathtrap and as usual he was leading his men straight into it. Janthis just hoped that the Osakans made a battle of it. He didn't want another massacre on his hands.

"Oh shut it, woman," Arvus snarls. "Those Raptors are right bastards."

"And you were stupid with trying to fight them. Leave it to those who know what they're doing next time."

"Oh, sorry, I forgot that you're not subtle whatsoever," Arvus says. "I prefer to kill from a distance, thanks. Hence why I don't have a flamethrower strapped to my arm."

"It gets the job done, and at least I don't have to worry about falling apart in a fight up close. Makes my work much easier. Who says subtlety is needed, anyway?"

"It helps keep your face off the Holonet when you blast out an unliked politician's head. Especially if you do it more than once."

"An occupational hazard that thankfully does not much apply to me. One of the advantages of only going after criminals and trying to take them in alive as much as possible."

"I dislike living bounties. They whine too much."

"Living doesn't have to mean conscious. And they're usually worth more alive anyway."

"Hence why I take the contracts where the target is preferred in many pieces."
