Oh, it seems that TBJ is back!

I hope it is not too late this time Ush, because this is continuation of the second turn action, which was waiting to be resolved on the tactical level, if I understand it correctly- so Ulrand will be fighting tactically against Rebels.

It wasn't waiting at all; last turn was no result. This turn we'll see if it ever gets results, via the tactical side.

It seems that Imperials are ready then.

Yeah, I'm preety confident in this turn because most of the rebel aces are going to fight a foolish battle in the air while we breach their walls. Should be easier.

I wonder whether Drakkon himself will lead the defenders of the central district.... this could be our chance.

You are positioned as Rex wanted- independents can look for Drakkon in the center.

Sweet. Going after Drakkon is exactly what Rylis wants to be doing...

(finishing Kyle would be fine, too)

I'm sure we'll get the chance to finish the Rebels, but capturing Drakkon should be way more fun...

Oh yes indeed...

TACTICAL SITUATIONS

-----

South Wall- Third Assault

(Affecting two battles fought at 3:2 in Imperial favour)

At the South, the situation remains exactly the same. Every time the Imperials get a foothold on the walls, they cannot hold it.

Now Coll sends forward a hand-picked Commander to lead the latest assault...

-----

North Wall- Engineering Works

(Affecting two battles being fought at evens

The attack on the North Wall begins.

One critical factor here is that the Imperials lack big guns capable of taking down the walls. A Veteran Commander has been tasked, alongside his men, with getting to the basel of the walls and laying explosive charges to try and create small breaches that could be climbed...

-----

City Centre- Street Fight

Affecting a battle being fought at 2:3 in Rebel favour

Inside the city proper the Imperials launch an immediate assault on the City Centre. As well as the organised military opposition the Imperials are slowed by civilian resistance.

The deployment of armoured AT-STs- which cannot be brought down by whips or knives- is intended to counter this. But then new reports start to come though which send a shockwave through the assault- the defenders are deploying weapons capable of destroying the AT-STs!

The nature of these weapons is not clearly reported. Soon, a strike is made at the point of the city where the AT-STs are being ambushed in an attempt to clear the weapons. Personalities from both sides find themselves in the engagement, as for both sides this is the cirtical point; the Rebels must hold the weapons in order to maintain their advantage in the fight, whilst the Imperials must clear them to be able to get through to their target.

-----

Air Fight

And finally, a straight, no holds barred, no complications fight between the remaining Rebel vessels and the available Imperial fighters. The fight is between fighters only. If the Imperials win, their bombers will start to give them further edges in the fight. if the Rebels win, Imperial air power will play no further part in the fighting.

What factors make the center battle ration in Rebel favor?

Because fighting in the city is an automatic penalty to Imperial forces.

But we have armour to even it.... well this is why I planned not to advance until we breached in at least two places, but the General leading the assault is a gambler, it seems. It should be interesting....

Okay, Rylis and co- you really need to dispose of those mysterious weapons- it is even more important than getting Rebels at this point, because our forces striking at the Center may be slaughtered otherwise.

I know you have armour to even it, but they've deployed anti-armour that was not accounted for in your intelligence.

Fortunately Rylis has flamer and jetpack, and Arvus heavy weapons, useful stuff for sabotage.... has Lyle replenished some of his explosives?

Nope.

Alright Ush, same rush tactics as last battle. I'll rush in on the walls with my stormtroopers, using my grappling hook from my survival belt to get to the top.

I'll also make a leadership roll on all nearby stormtroopers to inspire them to viciously attack the walls.

Same actions 🙂

Are we waiting for something?

I am wondering if there is anything appropariate left to do on political side - isn`t it a bit weird that Galahad didn`t leave when we are starting the assault on city center? Has my assistant found data on any of Rebel ships yet, or their pilots?

In order:

- Nope, just giving everyone time to see the situation
- Not really
- Perhaps but nothing to be done about ot
- No

Janthis will begin to make his way to the wall picking with his gernade launcher in his hands. He makes sure to keep his men in formation. So basically a light jog to the wall.

Ok then...

At the south wall we have a repeat of the original situaton.

In the centre streets, the AT-STs round a corner and find themsleves at the heart of the rebel trap. Rebels sighted atop the buildings where the weapons are located!

Janthis- you have a long run under fire to get those explosives in place!

Meanwhile, aerial fighters... know what you are doing?
