USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Though I am not sure if AT-AT are accurate enough to target top but not midway.

Well, only one person knows the answer to that.

Ush? If the AT-ATs fired at the top, how many people would die? And would it claim victims in the midway?

The problem with fighting Osokans is twofold- a. they tend to fight in melee, so to fire at them is almost always to fire at your own men as well, and b, they are very survivable.

Obviously your gunners will aim the best they can but I cannot deny the risks involved. However, firing at the top will keep the matter to the top.

So basicly I can't do anything until I get up? If I fire during the time I ascend I will most likely hit my own men? And hell no, I'm not getting anywhere a meter up close to an osokan. (Skiff situation was an exception)

I was only talking about AT-AT supporting fire there. Your personal fiire is much more precise.

And there are several rocket launcher wielders/snipers in each Stormtrooper company.

Ohh, okey. I'll tell my stormtroopers to fire at the midway Osokans.

If it won't hurt any nearby stormtroopers, I will shoot at the midway Osokans with my concussion rifle. If it will, I will double fire from both pistols at one of the Osokans.

The South wall battle is certainly incredibly ferocious this time. The extra troopers this time are sticking at the midway point, clearing a path, as their Commander brings heavy weaponry to bear with his concussion rifle. Meanwhile, up top, Kyle and Eerin take on the troopers, Eerin joining the Osokans in melee whilst Kyle blasts away at a distance.

In the city centre the gloves are off as well. Arvus opens fire on the Osokans with a railgun, blowing one down. The Osokans themselves are charging! The troopers fire back for some effect, the STs for more.

A volley of purpley-blue energy spheres rain out from the catapults, operated by Ranad (who has Heavy Weapons). They splatter and impact all over; thei firing is not greatly accurate but one knocks down a row of troopers and another brings down an AT-ST!

Rylis blasts away at Osokans, using Carnival of Carnage to good effect. She then finds herself in a girlfight as Sasha blasts at her! Though I am afraid your standard weaponry was already decided a while back, Sasha. Rylis dodges but Sasha rolls an 18; a good shot, and a 5 a less good one. Sasha's good shot hits home but she doesn't hit as hard as Kyle does and has no counter to Rylis' armour.

Arvus then finds himself under fire from Zalandos, who lands a damn solid hit with his heavy blaster.

To the north, Janthis keeps a certain segment of his force hanging back to give covering fire. He also orders his men to fire as they advance, which slows them but obviously means fire is traded. It will take three turns to reach the walls as it stands.

No Imperial orders for the air fight, or any from Cass. But the Black Dawn sets about downing the TIEs! Kills from the pilot and gunners.

AERIAL BATTLE

RFT: 0

Ulrand's TIE: 0

TIEs x17: 0

South battle-I think that Jaiden should spend one more turn clearing the midway, then he should be free to go top. What about AT units firing at top this turn?

Center fight- Osokans will likely get into melee next turn- but the targets are catapults. Where is Lyle, gone again?

Yeah, I think that too. If I clear the midway then stromtroopers could scale the walls faster and hit the Osokans harder.

Jaiden will aim his concussion rifle at the Osokans in midway and fire. Stormtroopers will do the same.

Arvus will move to get atop a building at the left end of the street. Being an assassin, he wants to keep at range from his foes.

Dodge if Zalandos fires at me again.

If I cannot get atop a building, Arvus will at least fire his railgun at the incoming Osokan forces.

Yes, it is not in character for Arvus to risk his life....Commanders are most useful tactics-wise, it seems. ( not an accusation, just an observation- there is big difference between devoted soldier and someone who wants money). Another issue is that independents cannot order Stromtroopers, I believe.

Still, if you manage to recognize Sasha, Commisar would be grateful for reporting it.

Tactics-wise, Arvus will be torn to pieces by Osokans in close combat. I don't want to try it.

I fully agree- you are a precious human resource, while Stormtroopers are relatively cheap human resources.

While commanders are platinum human sources 🙂

You gotta say, 100 stormtroopers always by your back is very useful.

Number is being reduced though- perhaps you can replenish some losses after this engagement?

And as Osokans midway are being decimated, Jaiden may be sending people to the top.

That is - if we don't find an uninvinted guests 🪩

Ush, didn't I say that I wanted to replenish my stormtroopers after the fight? Why did I start off with 70 then O_o

It seems that the Commanders will be unable to re-supply their soldiers this time around. You're in the middle of a battle, after all. Prior engagements had great lengths of time in which to refill the ranks after casualties had been taken.

Such is the case with Janthis, who lost his entire company when the Osokans attacked the Commissar.

Still, it is written in the template description that Commander has command over all the soldiers around, unless General is present- so your company are just bonus soldiers.

And Janthis wasn`t there when Commisar was attacked- he lost company during raptor attack.

It was Travis who saved Commisar`s life- which reminds me- he is on Victorious now, with Atar? We could have more named characters in the battle- it seems that Rebels brough their allies with them.

Ah, right, it was Travis.

I forgot that we had Travis.
