USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Hmmm.

Enough time passed so that I can use the spike gun again?

Nope.

Damn.

Well, I could simply dodge and let him attack twice and dodge both, but chances are I'd get hit anyway and I'd much rather take him down if I'm going to go out myself...

So I suppose I will risk it, backing away further into the melee and shooting at Eerin.

I do have 4 Fortune Left.

Well, if she gets a hit at me and I'll be near fatal I could spend some fortune on dodging.

Concussion Rifle at Scarlet, dodge her.

'Men! Drive back these beasts!' Shouts Jaiden as he fires.

Leadership roll?

Would it be possible to move back a bit and let the stormtroopers pass to the melee? I can't suffer any damage from melee now.

Well, you are already 7 points from being out, so you should start spending Fortune asap if you want to survive next round against Scarlet.

Sorry, I'm not actually certain what you have decided to do there.

Crush the bug?

Actually, it seems that Jaiden should be able to keep enough men to defeat the Osokans from upper floor, and clear what remains of lower one, which shouldn`t be much.

Alright I"ll spend a fortune point to dodge Scarlet as well

Move away from Eerin as much as possible (if he follows, oh well) and shoot him with my blaster.

Actually, I think I'm going to snap that...

Will you hit him with snapped attack, though? You need one hit to finish him .

Eerin is going for Rylis with another Strike of the Master, combined with a snapped Quick Attack!

Rylis is apparently declining to dodge (presumably you forgot to tell me, but I asked you to confirm your actions- I never assume dodges for anyone) so this just needs a good roll from Eerin to settle the matter. He rolls a 6- no good.

Eerin then repeats this but now the error is his because SOTM is Predictable and the current 12 frame period in which each time he uses it it gets worse lasts from frames 36 to 48 and this is time number three. Although these are single frame attacks he is making, they are at a penalty to hit even with SOTM. 8 is a miss again. Now there is frame parity.

Rylis is actually backing away towards the doorway out but there's still time for Eerin to attack again, and Rylis is firing at him anyway. This time Eerin makes an unsapped Quick Attack; him boosting it with SOTM for the fourth time in a row is just blowing pool. No need normally to track a pool of 14 in a 12 frame period but Eerin has actually gone through 13 of it with six frames to go. He is absolutely at the limit.

Still, Rylis' failure to dodge counts against her. Eerin rolls a 10 and that is a hit. Unfortunately for Eerin it is a rubbish hit for two damage.

Eerin is not dodging either and Rylis hits him right back- that finishes it. Eerin must withdraw.

Snapping is becoming an obsession with people- cost Eerin a hit on Rylis there. Rylis also snapped and would have missed had Eerin dodged. Do bear in mind it is a gamble.

Similarly, Kyle misses 2 out of his three super snaps.

Somewhat unaccountably, Jaiden switches to a Heavy Weapon to carry on his fight with Scarlet even though this reduces his chanecs to hurt her, him not being as good, and costs him more frames. A 13 would ordinarily be a hit, but she dodges it, the concussion weapon blowing out a chunk of the shaft next to her.

Still, rolling 1s from Scarlet does not help her cause either.

Meanwhile, the trooper/Osokan fight continues, as more troops pour into the elevator.

-

Rhys' supersnaps give him the same result as Kyle- miss, miss, kill. Remember you have to hit a Mook by five or more to kill it, and supersnapping gives you -5 to hit. Even with various bonuses it makes not killing a considerable possibility. Sasha gets a couple of kills though.

Janthis- you find yourself in a fight with an Osokan!

Ok then Janthis noticing that an Osokan has charged him will blast at him snapping an attack with it as well.

Just noting that once again he has CoC LV2, Eagle Eye, and Flurry Fire so this should be a quick match. If it isn't Janthis will dodge any of the Osokan's attack and order one other Trooper fire on it.

Ok then it seems as if any Osokan charge has been destroyed and halted.

We almost have 3:1 odds Trooper to Osokan.

So with that in mind Janthis will make a Leadership Roll for his men to begin advancing and taking the by now disorganized Osokans and driving them separating them away and picking them off scattered.

Janthis will do this by having 28 of his men walking forward while shooting. Notice that leaves 12 behind.

Hopefully I still have two snipers. Their job will be simple target and attack the only person capable of organizing the enemy: Sasha

Ok then that now leaves 10 left or 9 depending if I have to have one Trooper attack the guy on me. Out of that I will form 2 teams of 2 whose job it will be to target the other named Rebels and keep them busy. With so few Osoknas left it shouldn't be hard to spot them.

The remaining 6 or 5 will have a simple job where any particular supporting fire is needed on the 28 advancing troops they fire in that directon. So each one will attack where they is needed.

Hopefully this should particularly devastate the Osokans this turn and leave only a few standing. And with my guys shooting at the Rebels hopefully it will keep them on their guard and away from attacking this turn.

Actually, if Janthis wants his men to fire at the Rebels, wouldn`t it be better to focus at single Rebel at the time, so they are being eliminated from the fight quicker?

You might want to take some shots at the Rebels yourself, Janthis, since you're the best shot out of all your men.

Excellent work, Rylis. Two more to go...

I don't think the fight is going to last much longer. So my goal is to try and make them all feel although it would probably be a lot better if Janthis did focus on Sasha more since she is his main concern.

So I will change that Ush so that Sasha gets all 6ix of the Troopers I have assigned to the Rebels firing at her 😈

I would if I didn't apparently have an Osokan baring down on me 😛

If I was going to dodge, I'd've said I was going to (I always say when I will)...and it was a gamble but it was successful!

(and it was the first time I've even snapped an attack anyway 😛)

I am guessing it's been enough time with the spikegun now that it's reloaded, so Rylis will shoot Kyle with it and dodge any attack he makes at her while moving into melee range with him (if possible).

If it's not available yet still, just shoot at him with her blaster (and again move into combat range and dodge if he attacks me).

It's available, though either way he is going to shoot first.

I'll dodge it and take my chances.

Oh, and I want to stay within the melee for cover, as well.

So my action will be to fire at Kyle with the spike gun, making my way through the melee to where he is and dodging his attack.
