USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Hmph. They can't possibly hope to hold the West and South much longer...

(OOC: How do I join?)

You can't, we're nearly finished with the game.

I've sent my plans through, anyways.

I forwarded your plans to Ush.

Ush, based on aerial observation and the battle so far, we can take a good quess about remaining Rebel forces? I don`t think that they have enough units left to defend more than 2 sectors at once, do Atar and Nidar agree?

Another question- can Coll lead the battle in the city itself? He would have to leave his AT-AT? Anyway, I would like him to move to the North right now, if possible.

I think that may take two turns...

I wonder if I could lead an AT-ST unit in?

Ush, do we have to always move units if we attack? Now it only makes sense to enter at least two inside sectors at once.

No, I ask for confirmation of any advance after an enemy retreats.

Enemy losses have been very heavy indeed but you have no way of confirming anything other than what I gave you.

Moves are in- as ever, got until the end of the day if anyone wants to make changes.

Are tactical players still resting after those mega-violent last fights?

Indeed so.

We don't need them this turn anyhow. We'll crush them.

I wonder if they are stupid enough to send forces to South to fight another battle with 3:1 odds in our favour.

At North we should have at least 3:2 odds- we cannot have unlucky rolls all the time, right? Force would have to trully be against us if there neither victory or walls breach.

Taking the Center will still be a challenge, though.

TURN 8

The Imperial assault resumes on all sides. The Rebels do not advance to the south and are evacuating the west, and the Imperials move into this sector.

Only at the North does the battle continue. Here it bogs down to another Firefight. A defending Militia unit takes a hit as does an attacking trooper unit. And the walls finally breach.

CURRENT SITUATION

North Arm- 3 Warrior Units, 1 Militia Unit

Center Arm- 1 Hunter Unit, 2 Militia Units

West Arm- 2 stormtrooper units, 2 AT-ST units

South Arm- 2 stormtrooper units, 2 AT-ST units

Outside South Arm (West)- 2 Stormtrooper units

Outside South Arm (East)- 2 Stormtrooper Units, 1 AT-AT Unit

Outside West Arm (North)- 1 Speeder bike unit

Outside West Arm (South)- 1 Speeder bike unit, 1 Stormtrooper Unit, 1 AT-AT unit

Outside North Arm (West)- 1 AT-AT Unit, 1 Artillery Unit, 2 AT-ST Units

Outside North Arm (East)- 3 Stormtrooper Units, 1 AT-ST Unit

Turn 9 begins!

Rolls have actually been pretty even for both sides.

Well, didn`t we have a significant advantage at the North this time?
Is tactical turn approaching?

Edit- walls have breached, I didn`t notice- good! Now we will crush them.

Actually not making a huge difference because you can attack them from within the city at the same time as from the walls now, which would make the walls useless.

But they have a bonus while fighting in the city, and cannot use it if we attack from outside.

So if forces inside South and West sectors either attack or are attacked from the Center, their strenght is combined? Though we need attack from North as well to have a solid advantage, in light of their bonus of fighting in the city and Gungan catapults denying our armor superiority. Coll needs to get inside to compensate for Drakkon`s leadership bonus.

How long will it take to finish the battle, according to Atar?

They have a bonus across walls as well, so that would have made no difference.

However, if the centre attacks, then the area attacked is on its own unless both of them were attacking the centre.

He doesn't know. Longer than he would have wanted.

So waiting for North units to get inside would be very risky if Rebels attack....

Why there are only 3 units in the center? Could Rebels have only 7 units left?

Possibly. All down to how you think your foe will act.

They will attack because it suceeded last turn and they have no other choice at this point...

But does it seem possible that Rebels have only 7 units left?
