USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

EDIT- Rex was here

You know, Lana reminded me of something that we had made very important in the planning stages but now...I don't know if we really need it?

But anyways. Did we capture the Starport? Or did we accidentally demolish it or something? I think it was in the South...can't remember. It's been awhile since we even mentioned it.

Rylis expressed wanting to park her ship in there. 😛

I rememeber the South being mined with explosives as our forces entered it, wasn`t the point to blow the Staroport?

But I am not sure if we have time to properly use it now anyway. We have to end battle in five hours, how long would it take to transport some haevy machines to the starport, to use them against the Guild Hall?

I don't think it mentioned the starport, it just mentioned lots of explosives going boom.

It could be used as a quick insertion point for reinforcements, rather than the two turns it would take to put a fresh stormtrooper unit into the City. Perhaps.

Indeed, everything that allows us to take Center quicker would be useful.

Ush mentioned that we have to end battle in 15 hours to avoid symphathy loss. I think that we can take Center in 5 hours, especially if they really have no reserves. Then even one Firefight result can cripple their defense.

Indeed. They'd have to be incredibly lucky not to be destroyed very, very quickly...

The strategic result for the centre is a Firefight. One unit of Warriors, a West Arm trooper unit and a South Arm ST are hit, the first and last being therefore destroyed.

Imperials can move into the North then we can see what the situation is for the turn after.

I have submitted the troop movements.

Yes, if my calculations are correct than 6 AT-ST units and 5 Stormtrooper units should give us 45 attack strenght. Those odds should be enough.

Indeed. Up to our tactical stuff to keep it strong.

I have checked the Rebel forces situation up from 7th turn, and everything supports the idea that they have no reserves. According to my calculations it means that we should get 2:1 odds this time, which considering Coll`s bonus means that we cannot get unfavourable strategic result.

Like I said, up to our tactical players to hold that supremacy over their units.

Imperial troopers and AT-STs advance into the North sector as speeder bikes plug the gap to the south (though it is unclear why they did not just advance more toopers in).

The Centre is now opposed on three sides with final odds of 2:1. The odds of the Rebels pulling off a decent result here are now so low as to not make a tactical fight worth it. For the defenders, the situation is hopeless.

Imperial victory comes after ten hours of fighting. Now all that remains is to see the results.

Excellent...

Man Janthis really dropped the ball in the fighting

No worries, there's still the ending finale where we slaughter all the Rebels mercilessly...

I better get a chance to take out both Sasha and Rhys 😄

Commisar looks with anticipation as the dozens of AT-ST`s level the defences of the city center.

"At least their end has come, General. Our enemies fought bravely, yet shall be slaughtered as animals. Only Lodge Captains and Rebel agents are worth being taken alive. Wipe out all the others.

Oh, and be careful about capturing Guild Hall- send your best men to ensure that we take Drakkon. Emperor shall be pleased to have him as a prisoner."

I assume that slaughtering the "civillians" won`t lower our Senate Sympathy, Ush? Commisar really lost patience with this race. Perhaps my idea of using them as slave labour can be applied to those outside the capitol. (You see, I really want Commisar to be the one giving the orders for genocide before Vader does it).
