Man Janthis really dropped the ball in the fighting

No, you did quite well- you won your first tactical battle, and alomost got the better of three Rebels while alone.

"I'll see to it personally, Commissar," Coll responds. "Our efforts will be focused on retrieving as many important hostages as we can."

The city burns; most of it is wooden and so gives little resistance.

Organised opposition is now broken and there are no wirries about organised enemy attacks at various points of the line. But there are plenty of civilians and scattered warriors around so there are no fully safe zones in the city. The zones are miliarily secure, but not safe.

The bombardment crashes into the central part of the city more and more. Resistance is extremely fierce but the troopers are now slowly, patiently cleairng the area building by building. The battle is won, that is clear now, and the imperative for speed lessons. STs level districts one by one and level what is left afterwards, but the troopers still do the hard work.

It will all be over soon. You can bet the Rebels will not stay quiet. If they simply choose to leave, stopping them may be hard. Even ones killed accidentally in the fighting would be embarrassing; the Senator stayed knowing the risks but even so it would not be 'neat'.

Still, you doubt they will just leave quietly. Meanwhile, with the military front now finished, you are free to enter the city again. What are everyone's plans?

Coll will lead an organized march on the Guild Hall. He wants to participate in its taking and watch it burn once he and his men are through with it.

"Now is your opportunity to capture the Guildmaster," Coll sneers to Rylis and Arvus. He turns and executes one of the wounded Osokans with several blasts to the forehead. "Best of luck with the pig lord."

Arvus nods to Coll, then turns to Rylis.

"You ready? We're going to need to give this bastard everything we've got. He can't possibly win against our superior tech."

"Ready indeed. And if I can get Kyle or Eerin while I'm at it, so much the better..."

Oh, before Coll goes on his assault, he will tell his Lieutenant to inform Lord Vader that the City has fallen and organized resistance has ceased.

If he can, of course.

"My bet is that they'll bugger off," Arvus laughs. "Their bravery in battle was based on some idea that they would win. Now they've lost, and they will leave."

Frankly, priority number one is catching Drakkon. We know that he is still in Guild Hall? Could aerial observation and those overhearing devices Rylis and Arvus left in the Hall be of use?

Still, it appears that General Coll is leading the assault against Guild Hall personally, he should make sure that is is surrounded, and those speederbikes are quicker than any running Osokans.

Concerning Rebels, our troopers need to be on guard. Commisar told Coll to gather reports of Rebels fighting against us. Commisar will try to immediately get in touch with Galahad again. If not, he is thinking about going back to city to overseer everything in person, taking Commander Travis with him. Is starport secured by us? I assume that Galahad`s ship is still there, so going there in person would quarantee meeting him?

Is there any advice from Atar regarding Drakkon or Rebels, or from Nidar who stayed quiet recently, or Commisar`s aide?

Oh, and what about Rebel ships, Ush? I think that those two that attacked the artillery are evidence against Rebels and we can seize them. I even told my assistant to check info on them before the battle. More reason to get to the Starport while Coll and tactical people take the Guiid Hall before Drakkon escapes. I assume that we have enough Stormtroopers now to ensure protection for Commisar.

Oh, and Coll- I think that only escape route from the Guild Hall is to the East, where we didn`t originally placed our troops- block the escape route! You should use speeder bikes to get there quickly, and give speederbikes to players as well!

Vader's edict remains in effect.

The starport is secure, yes, though the Rebel ships are being left alone as they are under Senatorial protection.

No Osokan comms remain intact so contacting Galahad is not possible.

What I meant is the escape route from Center to East. As I told Coll, while Vader ordered Jaiden to lead the Guild Hall assault, Janthis could be organizing some force to block the escape routes- speederbike units are the best for this, since they can react quickly. If Drakkon stays in the Hall to the very end, we will simple break the defence with superior force. Would surrounding Guild Hall with probe droids help?

But what about those two ships that attacked the artillery, Ush? They attacked openly, cannot I order them seized to investigate those attacks? Lanzar is no longer at Senatorial jursidiction, I think.

That's the part of the centre sector you do not hold, because you have nothing from the East to support it.

-

You need a warrant to seize those ships, they are under Senatorial protection and Thespia is still a loyal Imperial world (and a very rich one).

Regarding those three ships that attacked artillery, wouldn`t their open attack on legal Imperial invasion force consitute the basis of the warrant?

Are Nidar and Atar okay with wha`t s going on, and with Commisar going to the starport?

Janthis will be where ever Coll needs him although he would like to attack the guild hall.

My point was just for Coll to organize forces to minimize the chance of escape attempt for Drakkon. Actually, I don`t think that Vader ordered to leave the East alone so Drakkon would escape there... and then he would bombard him with Ties? Sounds ridicolous, and he said himself that Emperor wants him alive.

Concerning the ship issue, Ush, I know that Galahad has much political power. but so does the Commisar. And the facts are on my side- those ships openly attacked the Taskforce, unprovoked, and after the war was legally started. Either he has a good explanation or he cannot object for us to check on them. Can I use my influence to get a warrant in case he doesn`t want to cooperate? In this case while Commisar gets in touch with Coruscant, he will send his Aide to starport to wait for Galahad arriving there, and to immediately inform him of this, creating some delay if circumstances require it.

To the first, maybe- want to apply for one? See what happens. What you cannot do is seize Senatorial property (which has immunity) on your own back. This isn't like seizing private cargo ships; you need to go through due process. The Senate is a pain.

So long as tou are escorted.

I posted just before you, elaborating on my plans...

Well my response is the same. Apply for the warrant. You won't get it before the fight is over.

Your aide is not 100% sure of that one. She thinks they'll kill her.

Kill? I thought that starport is secured? She should learn bravery from me.

I think that the warrant may be useful later,so I can still apply for it. Still, isn`t it very strange that "senatorial property" attacks Imperial Army? I think that Galahad is gonna have to explain it very well.

If I cannot get the warrant quickly, like from Emperor instead of Senate, I can go to starport myself, and leave Sareitha to keep check on events and make the application for the warrant. Is there anything important for me to do on Victorious? I won`t contact Emperor till I have news on Drakkon.
