I recall spending at least one point on a shot at Eerin...

Can Fortune be used to escape from the circle of pigs that I'm trapped in?

What would be the reason wouldn't Drakkon just bring the circle with you 😛

Just Joking

Arvus quickly sprints over to where Janthis was blasted down, sure that the Rebels will not think to shoot at him as Lyle is charging straight towards them.

"Alright, Commander..." Arvus says, kneeling over him and tearing open the medpack pouch on his survival belt. "It'd be terrible to lose someone who is actually competent, or I wouldn't be over here."

Arvus begins stabilizing him with some of the needles he finds in the medical kit.

Janthis, who had spent the past time laying on the ground in a daze over what happened, sees a shadowy figure running at him. He thinks it is probably in Osokan coming to finish him off until he sees it is the assassin.

"Alright, Commander..." Arvus says, kneeling over him and tearing open the medpack pouch on his survival belt. "It'd be terrible to lose someone who is actually competent, or I wouldn't be over here."

As Arvus begins to stick needles into him Janthis replies, "Believe...me..I don't wa...want to lose one either."

"You took a pretty nasty hit there..." Arvus says, removing a piece of the Commander's armor that had fragmented and dug into his skin. "You know Commander Jaiden hit you, right?"

Arvus pries pieces of the armor from Janthis' shoulder.

"You should get out of the Army while you still can..."

Janthis laughs when Arvus tells him who hit him.

"No I didn't... but that would be... my luck... on this blasted planet... " Janthis replies, wincing as the assassin removes some pieces of shrapnel from his arm.

"Believe me if I could leave I would but when you are born for war its hard to find other jobs."

"There's always the Bounty Hunters Guild..." Arvus says, absentmindedly, as he tries to focus on stopping blood flow and applying bacta to the worst of the burns.

"Good point... maybe one I'll consider if I get out of here..."Janthis laughs.

"Although maybe you should join the army..."

Arvus blasts with his railgun at Kyle, who dives out of the way, though he is still in the blast. He then, unexpectedly, dashes over to where Janthis was downed.

Kyle, Rhys and Cass all blast at Lyle, using up spare frames to do so. Not great rolling, not terrible, only Rhys and Cass score hits. Lyle starts to make his way up the Pit; three frames out of six covered so far.

Rylis, unhappy with the spike gun, flames Drakkon instead. Well, she hits, and he is ablaze. Coll blasts at Drakkon himself, not much good, but he does dodge Drakkon's attack again.

Eerin has taken a stormtrooper hit, which was bound to happen eventually.

Why wasn't Jaiden able to flame Eerin?

I think that this was because Jaiden and Eerin were farther with frames than other people...I assume that Ush will execute those actions with next update.

(Oh, and does Arvus get XP penalty for being a nice guy? 😉 )

Does the commissar get an XP penalty for being a coward ermm

😛

Yeah, agreeing with Melkor there on the frames, but not the xp...

"That is possibly the worst suggestion anyone has ever made to me," Arvus replies, "and I've heard a lot of suggestions..."

"What the long hours, lack of free will, and risk of being shot by your own men doesn't appeal to you..." Janthis laughs.

Ok, back to the grind- and to answer queries from both sides, yes, some people were ahead on frames so their actions were withheld; tothers needed to make them uo so acted teice.

Note that this megafight is probably the last time frames will ever be used, so deal with them whilst you can.

Not all of them gave orders but I am assuming the rebel fire on Lyle continues. This time Kyle hits but not the others.

Lyle, you have reached the top of the Justice Pit! And hencr you can see the extremely vertical and dark-shoruded Pit that is bilt into the top of it. You doubt you want to fall in there.

Eerin is just getting ready for a melee fight when Jaiden tries to flame him instead. Eerin dodges and the flame blast misses by milimetres. Close one!

Rylis has flamed Drakkon again.

Coll wants to know if he can use Fortune to escape. No, you can use Fortune to help the rolls you need to pass to get out of there but Fortune is not 'magic teleport'. And the rolls you need to get out of there are combat ones. Someone should have gone for theose Hunters if you wanted out.

Drakkon appears to have tired of playing and lands a direct hit on Coll, against which Coll has to make a death check; passed. Penalty on you is now -2, Coll.

Arvus stabilises Janthis. What a nice guy!

Coll: 75/75 (26)

Arvus: 78/22

Jaiden: 77/40

Lyle: 78/32

Flame Eerin again, parry if he strikes.

So Lyle's not at the base any longer, but within melee range of the Rebels, etc?

If so, he'll attempt to trip Rhys (and will switch from guns to knife).

If not, he'll continue to advance on them, shooting at Kyle.

I have a question about the rules - what exactly is the effect of being prone?

They are down on the ground for three frames and cannot fight back until they're up. I think they can dodge, though, but at a penalty?

And that's what I meant by using Fortune to escape; I figured it would be useful on a roll, rather than magically getting Coll out of danger.

Coll with spend a Fortune point to have dodged that last attack on him, unless it wouldn't have helped.

Need to decide on my current action...

Arvus will pat Janthis on the shoulder once he's done saving his life and rejoins the battle.

If I fire my railgun at Kyle or Cass, will it hit Lyle?

And if I fire my railgun at the Hunters, will it hit Coll or Rylis?

Oh, also, dodge player attacks. (Up to two).

"Thanks again" Janthis says.

(Ush is Janthis completely removed from the battlefield now that he is stable or is he still laying on the ground?)
