USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

"Well, I'm alive," mutters Lyle, as the Commissar signs off.

Ush where would Janthis be?

I assume he would be in some kind of Medical area being attended to.

If so

Janthis, sitting on a bed watching as Medics work over him, hears the large explosion of blaster fire cease.
Well I guess that is the end of The Battle for Lanzar Janthis thinks to himself. He is already beginning to recount everything that happened here. The good and the bad. He remembers the battle with the Raptors, to the very idea that Janthis actually challenged Drakkon at one point, to the North Wall and all the fighting inside of it.

Where others would look back at these things badly Janthis actually reveled in it. For the first time in a long time Janthis actually got fights worth calling fights. The Osokans were every bit the battle he was looking for. His only regret being how he got taken out in the last battle. He had hoped to face Drakkon's charge head on and maybe even get a few shots in on the giant pig.

Jaiden pats Lyle on the back heavily as Lyle leaves, before noticing the fire stop. "All right Troopers. You heard the General. Get in there and identify the corpses"

And so the Battle of Lanzar is over. Despite their poor performance at the climax, the strategic victory of the Imperials is, eventually, total, and the city is overrun. At the Pit, surrounding Imperial forces keep firing for another twenty minutes at everything in there, just to make sure.

Now the razung of the city begins. Always bombarded, burnt and battered, now it is to be levelled; oblitterated.

The flight of the people of Lanzar begins also. The populace- what remains of the military and the civilians- panic and flee. Lacking any form of central leadership, and not being creatures of great discipline anyway, the instinct of 'every pig for himself' takes over.

With no Imperials in the East, and none surrounding the city there, the populace flees in that direction.

-

Not much to be found in the Pit, to be honest. Could take a long time. Meanwhile, time to secure the last part of the city, to the East.

Melkor, you receive word that Senator Galahad is leaving

I assume that I can meet Galahad at the starport, and take this into the conversation thread?

Could I arrest people such as Kyle or Eerin, as they were seen fighting against Empire several times?

Nope, they are not stopping to talk.

Really? Cannot I demand some explanation from Galahad? Or just try to meet him by the ships?

Not if they don't stop to talk, no. Well, you can demand all you like, but no answer.

Then I will report to the Senate that he didn`t even care to explain why his protected ships were attacking us, or why were his companions spotted fighting against us.

You already did that, but I'll warn you now, it's not going to go anywhere.

I don`t have any grounds to stop him? What with the blockade?

You could try and order an interception, if you wished.

Well, but it seems like it won`t end well for me, because I don`t have the warrant from the Senate?

"Senator Galahad, I request you to meet me immediately." -let`s see how he reacts to this.

Oh, you aren't even there when they arrive.

I posted staying in the starport after I run from Vasilisk.

But we have discussed it before, and conclusion was that I don`t have grounds to stop him, wasn`t it?

Starport is a big place and your presence is obvious.

And not as such, no.

Hmm......unless there is something I don`t know about, it would end badly? But at this point I don`t want to take risks, I think I stretched my luck. My Ally doesn`t think stopping Galahad is good idea?

(Frankly, I really wanted to destroy Galahad in conversation after his failure to help Lanzar, it would be very entertaining).

Coll, satisfied that nothing threatening is moving at the Pit, orders all forces to push the Osokans out of their City, to the East, or to slaughter them if they refuse to retreat out of the walls.

You can always hail his ship, Melkor. Cannot guarantee he will respond.

Don't forget to get some people on excavating his body.
