Commisar will actually make sure that Commander Travis is given a medal, for his efforts in protecting him.
"Good, at least he didn`t escape." -Commisar smiles, seeing Drakkon`s remains.
He demands the body of Vasilisk to be brought to him, because he wants to check whether any of it, at least a head, is suitable for the purpose of stuffing as an animal-like trophy. He will send a picture of it to the Duchess. He also wants a report whether anything survived of the archives.
"General Coll made a foolish move- he personally tried to capture Drakkon, but proved to be not up to the task. I should have put Atar and his Senior Commander in charge." -Commisar responds.
"Though I understand that you had a grudge against Captain Kyle and his pet bug, Eerin, before. It is interesting coincedence that you met here...... perhaps fate will allow you to meet yet again? And I hope it will be the end of them, then." -He smiles darkly.
Lyle agrees with Rylis, and adds:
"Our skills are best suited to gain intelligence before such events: from the start of the invasion onward we had little overall control, sir. It was the military command directing operations then."
Personally, though, he thinks the Commissar is throwing blame around a little unfairly, considering his conduct during the battle, but doesn't allow any hint of his feelings to show.
Arvus eyes the bombardment-cremated remains of Drakkon.
"I don't think the General tried to capture the Guildmaster, just led his men against him. Still, not such a bright idea, but whatever, not my problem. Drakkon was a tough bastard, I'll give him that."
After poking around in the remains with a gloved hand, Arvus steps away.
"Still, even Drakkon can't regenerate from that."
"Oh, he was mighty beast, but couldn`t do anything against our firepower. Those stupid pigs were unable to comprehend that they are doomed, how unfortunate for them....and now nothing shall remain of their worthless legacy."- He looks at the death city with twisted joy.
Ush, I should report to the Emperor, right? Commisar must present himself in the best light possible, even though he didn`t manage to deal with Andran pernamently....
As I thought. Commisar will speak to Senior Officers about this.
"What do you think are our best options for clearing the rest of the planet? I think that we can rely on the orbital solution this time, am I right, Commodore? Between our Ties and Destroyers we can obliterate smaller settlements quite efficiently." - He looks at Nidar.
"We surely don`t want to afford further Army losses, there are already significant."- He looks at Generals.
Vader gave us the Ties back?
"Of course."- Commisar nods.
"I would then suggest that we put some ground forces around every significant settlement, level it from the air, than the job of the Army will be to kill any escaping pigs. Marshall, General, what do you think?
We also need some survey to look for any significant groups trying to hide in the jungle....though I doubt how long they will survive there. They will be reduced to the level of animals, anyway, which I find suitable. Perhaps Captain Jarek is free to return and help with orbital bombardments?"
"I have my doubts on the return of Captain Jarek, courtsey of Andran."
Coll has remained on the ground to oversee things, still battered and caked with mud and gore. He communicates via hologram.
"On the matter of eliminating every Osokan on the planet, I advise against spreading our forces too thin. I am sure there are not many settlements outside of what was once Lanzar City, but still.
"The Jungle will not be a problem, though. Since these smaller settlements will be lacking in shield generators and anti-aircraft batteries and such, we will be able to deploy dropships immediately after the bombardment from space."
