Arvus would like to return to his ship to contact his superiors to obtain new orders, since they've now arrived.

Which ship?

I'll contact the Victorious.

"Well, so you claim that the personal representative of Emperor has come here to distrupt your mission? How interesting, I am sure you just worded it that way by mistake, as you surely don`t doubt the sincerity of Emperor`s intention? Anyway, I shall arrive at Lanzar immediately, I hope my safety among those barbarians is something you can quarantee."

Ush, I am indeed coming there, using my personal, high-quality transport vessel. I only take my Aide and small armed escort with me.

Trebeis stood at attention. Seemingly glaring out the View port as the Ships separated and headed toward their individual sectors. The Deviator, slowly gliding toward it's destination.

Later Maintaining a position above the Capital, the Destroyer gleamed with malicious intensity. However, not even the dangerous appearance of the Ship could compare to that of the man Commanding the Vessel. The minute they had left Hyperspace, a change had overcome the Captain. He seemed suitably [i]Dangerous[i/]. The ship was at full alertness. Pilots were double-checking their craft, Crew were at their stations and their systems were all on-line.

It was now a waiting game.

"Captain," says your XO, Trebeis, "out instruments are picking up a power signature below. We think a shield is coming into operation."

Advance team can feel free to return to thr ships now if they wish.

"Yes, that is what I think," says Andran. "What the Emperor wants I cannot say, but I judge you by what you have already said. Put a foot wrong, Commissar, and I will have you expelled from this world. And I am sure you can see to your own protection."

"And what authority you have to expel me from this world?"

"The authority of the Imperial Senate."

'Senate is just one of the foundations of the Empire. And fortunately some Senators think diffrently than you, they understand and value the New Order, that His Majesty brought us."

"I know more about the Senators and the Senate than you do, Commissar, and your empty rhetoric means nothing to me. I will tell you something with some substance. If you cause any trouble, or in any fashion at all obstruct this mission or make it more difficult, by the criteria that I set as the head of this mission, then I will contact the Senate and have a motion in place by the end of the day that will have your Commissar status revoked."

He lets that hang for a few moments.

"Do not think I either cannot or will not do that. I shall expect your party on the surface shortly. Andran out."

Yes i will go immediately, Ush, how many hours to reach Lanzar? Isn`t Drakkon making contact with me?

Esgabath listens to Arvus as he makes the contact:

"You didn`t seem to learn that much! Apparently, Andran has sucessfully forged a treaty to end the conflict! Is the situation really as stable as he claims? And I have information of Rebel agents present on Lanzar, I suspect they may be collaborating with Andran, I want you to check if any suspicious people are contacting the Senate Mission."

Well, they can certainly report (as I did indeed make a note of pointing out to the advance team) that the city was far more quiet and peaceful than you had expected, with no sings of conflict.

Getting down to Lanzar from orbit will take mere minutes. Who's going?

Does Nidar or any of the officers want to accompany me? Could my Aide prepare and overhearing device to plant?

But the proper etiquette demands I should contact Drakkon first, right?

You're not entirely sure how you could do that. You were in communication with the centre of Government when you spoke to Andran.

Nidar has a lot to do; he'd rather send a Captain.

You're not really an expert at covert stuff...

But I mentioned my Ally is good at it, I described her as security and communication expert. Though I assume there is much risk involved in such things.

I shall ask other Generals and Captains then. (I am a bit too sleepy to do everything in character). Propably not more than small unit of stormtroopers and two starfighters as escort.

Would it be a bad idea to contact Tarkin now? The political situation is very difficult for conducting an invasion, and Andran troubles me. I would like to hear how the archetypical Imperial official would aproach it.

Yes, you can contact him, so long as you have questions ready.

Questions about how to aproach the Senators and attempt to divide them may seem valid? I assume he has dealt with such situations before?

General Coll would like to go, if possible.

Yes he has; is that going to be what you ask?

Coll can indeed go, yup.

"Try to pinpoint the exact location of the Generators." Trebeis ordered.
