USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

"Stop for a moment" - Melkor orders Coil. He closes to the Senator, and tries to evaluate him:

"Senator from Thespion, I assume. Greetings, I am Imperial Commisar Melkor Esgabath. Have you been observing the negotiations?" -His tone is courtesous but confident.

"Company HALT!" General Coll shouts, as per Esgabath's orders, holding up an open hand.

Just to remind me- is anyone checking out the newly arrived ships?

"Welcome, Commissar," Galahad says, marching his tone. "Galahad Klinge-Faust, at your service. Indeed I have been. What brings you and your men to Lanzar?"

Not yet, I suppose. Lyle didn't seem to want to do it, but Arvus wants to, but values Lyle's abilities with Intrusion.

If it remains inconclusive, Arvus would like to split off from the group momentarily to go investigate.

"Orders, of course," General Coll pipes up from behind the Commissar. "What else, Senator?"

"His Majesty wishes to see the final resolution of the strife on this world, and we are to ensure that order will indeed reign here."

Commander Janthis is working to make sure everylast detail is being seen to should the troops be launched.

That's odd, Janthis. Whilst checking the status reports, you notice that the Victorious has switched to maximum alert. Something you would normally not do unless actively in battle.

Yours is not to reason why of course, but... odd...

"I am sure Emperor Palpatine would like very much to see this world find peace, but I am sure you will find that Senator Andran has already secured as much. This mission is on the verge of completion."

Galahad looks to the General. "Of course, General...?"

"Vantos Coll, of Daysil. You may recall that the Emperor himself awarded me praise and rank for the capture of Jedi rebel Seri Gaph by my troops, when I was a Commander, about five years ago. I executed her myself."

Well I'd do it myself, but of the three of us I have the lowest Intrusion score. So you two figure out which one wants to do it.

How odd that you should have to say that... 😛

I say we go assess the situation anyways, to see if Intrusion would even be useful.

Ush, Arvus will go to the starport to see the newly arrived craft.

"Ah, the son of Senators Persh and Kirra Coll of Daysil," Galahad replies, with a sigh. "They would have been proud of your defeat of a Jedi, I'm sure. I did indeed hear of your prizes of battle."

-

Okidokey, Arvus, Doesn't take you long to find out that the ships have landed at an isolated bay, and surly-looking Osokans aren't letting anyone in.

Hmmm....and one thing we've learned by now it's that sneaking past Osokans isn't easy.

True, though don't rate all Osokans by the standards of the Hunters.

"I have heard that Andran`s trully impressive skills brought unexpected results, Senator. Or so he claims. What is your impression?" -Melkor tries to recognize this Senator and his reputation.

A peacenik. Thespion is a highly culturalised world, full of money and soft feelings (though with an odd penchant for violent bodyguards, some kind of tradition of theirs). (In fact, there is his Family Protector with him, right now. Looks young to you)

Anyway, Galahad's voting record refects his world- soft. No part of the New Order.

Soft meaning weak, in Coll's eyes.

"Yes, they would have," General Coll says, narrowing his eyes, flicking his gaze to the Family Protector near him.

"My impression, Commissar? The results were not unexpected; Drakkon does not want to be subjugated or annihilated by mass droves of stormtroopers, obviously enough. Things should be wrapped up within a day or so."

That Protectot is meeting your gaze, Coll. In fact, he's been staring at you for some while.

Most interesting Janthis thinks to himself.
He will contact Trebeis on the bridge to ask about this if some order has been given or battle plan has been launched we need to know and so does General Coll.
Speaking through a communicator to the bridge, " Someone get me Captain Trebeis at once I have a question for him."
