Trebeis Gazes out the Vieport quietly, while going over possible Battle Scenerios in his mind.

Ush, since Dark never really ever shows up at all, would the organization of the TIE squadrons fall to the Captains?

Nope...

Commander Janthis is working to make sure everylast detail is being seen to should the troops be launched.

Arvus would like to remain separate from the diplomatic team, as to remain anonymous. Lyle can if he wants, though.

"Well, are we going to see to those three ships or not?" Arvus asks Lyle. "I can always try sneaking in without you."

"Yes, I think that would be a good idea. Maybe you or Rylis should follow the Commissar - see who takes note of his arrival," Lyle says, "These ships are the pressing matter, though."

Just thinking along these lines - if the rebels know Melkor's on the planet, they'll probably try and get close to him.

So then who DOES make the decisions for the Fighters? I'd think it quite ludicris that in a situation in which the Squadron Leader is incapacitated or otherwise incapable of performing duties, that those should not fall upon someone who IS capable of making those decisions.

You're Naval, not air force. Someone else will do it.

As what you command is written into your templates, allowing you to command the fighters would be like giving a Rebel player an extra character's worth of tricks.

So we should just assume some NPC Squadron Leader is out there somewhere?

Literally yes there is, but it is no-one important.

Alright, thats all I wanted to know. I half expected you to tell us that we would have no Fighter support.

The thing is that TIE Squadrons are not known for their inspiring leadership and organisation. PC Squadron leaders represent an additionala ability that is simply not there if they are not.

So they will be acting very boringly.

That's five minutes gone by, and still no-one has met you guys in the lobby.

Start shooting things. That never fails to get attention. 🥷

Esgabath is going to ask the person in sight that looks like being highest in rank, inquring where they can find Drakkon and Senators. This person doesn`t have to be Osokan.

You stop what appears to be a personal assistant.

"Oh, they are all up in the rooms around the Lodge Centre... Commissar?"

"Thank you."

I assume it would be insulting if I try to find them on my own?

"Should we proceed to the Lodge Center then, Commissar?" General Coll asks.

"Indeed, whe shall go. We should always be on the offensive, it apllies also in diplomacy."

"Of course, Commissar. After you." General Coll turns to the troops as the Commissar moves onwards. "We will march into the Lodge Center. Forward, MARCH!"

He spins on his heel and follows Esgabath.

Oh wait, it appears a Senator has turned up here after all.

Hmm... Thespion's Senator, you think, Esgabath. Not one of the ones on the deciding committee; must be one of the observers.
