X-Men Roleplay

Shatter listened to the Professor's reply and she did not for a second doubt his conviction in the matter. Personally however, she had doubts and whenever she had doubts about anything at all... she turned to God.
So without hesitation she spoke in reply.

"I understand and respect your conviction Professor but for the moment I have my doubts. If you'll allow me, I'll give you my answer tomorrow morning. I need time to consider this."

"Take as much time as you need Shatter. Right now I would like to hear how our veterans have been. Scott, Emma, how have things been?"

Shatter nodded and looked to Bobby, smiling slightly she left the room, in need of both a shower and a fresh set of clothes.

~Kelly drifted off to Sleep as Cain carried her back to the Mansion. It was clear she was tired.~

~Mystique looked to Deadpool then to Magneto~ Why hired someone like that to kill the Wolverine when you can do it yourself? Or send me for that matter. At least I do it for free instead of having to bring someone else into the Brotherhood...

"Because my dear I don't want this to be traced back to us so soon. I need the X-Men to believe that we have good intentions at the moment."

Cain eventually makes it back to the mansion and skips everyone and lays Kelly in her room. He then goes to his room and sleeps so the time will pass by faster.

What of the Mercenary, Deadpool?

~Kelly turned over on her bed and awoke looking around.~ Wha... Oh. ~She said realizing she was back in her room. She got to her feet and made her way around the Mansion looking for the others. Since she was new here she didnt know anything about the Danger Room and its location.~ ... Where is everyone?

Shatter exited the lift from the lower floor and saw a familiar figure wander by.

"Kelly?"

"Who knows we hired him? I'm so sure that our friend won't talk if captured. He is exactly as you say, a mercenary. Anyone could've hired him and seeing as Wolverine has so many enemies then that is a huge list to choose from for the right culprit."

Scott smiled and glanced back at emma

"things have been fine with us, we been traveling alot latly. And i've put alot of thought into the mutant situation"

The professor sighed and decided it time to reveal some horrible news. He takes Scott and Emma to the side so that they may discuss it privately in the next room.

"Speaking of the mutant situation. There have been horrendous mutant muderings going on in Kansas City. Angel alerted me to this situation earlier this morning and some of the pictures are graphic. A part of me doesn't want to show you out of fear of your means of retaliation, but the outcome will be even worse if I don't."

He pulls a folder from the desk with with graphic pictures of dead mutants, some are only children, and some who's age can't be identified due to their bodies being burned.

"This needs to stop now, we have to find whoever is guilty and bring them to justice."

Perhaps you are right. But do you really think he can kill the Wolverine? He is a fomidable opponent. One not to be underestimated.

~Kelly looked up to see Shatter and she smiled softly~ Oh there you are. I was wondering where everyone went to. ~she looked to the Elevator~ Where does that lead too?

"Walk with me Mystique."

He gets off of his chair and walks outside with Mystique closely behind him.

"That feral creature is an excellent fighter, I'll give you that, but Deadpool is no less deadlier. He is an idiot, a jerk and a complete annoyance but behind that idiotic facade lies a fighter equivalent if not better than Wolverine himself. I have more faith in him with this task then I would with Sabertooth or hell even an entire army. Trust me my dear, he can do it."

Emma put her hand to her mouth and looked away from the images. "Good god... Their only children." She shook her head and forced herself to look back. "I'm guessing we are to leave as soon as possible then." She turned her gaze from the horrid images to look up at the professor.

Shatter looked to the elevator and then back to Kelly.

"My guess is, within due time you'll find out but most of 'everyone' is down there for the moment. I just really need a shower and a change of clothes."

She paused then raised an eyebrow.

"You just wake up?"

She asked the younger woman seeing as though Kelly had asked where everyone was.

Scott sighed and clenched his fist tightly

"tell the others, i'll go suit up" he said aggressivly then walked off towards his room

=Bobby came up the lift after Shatter and ran out only to stop short to see Shatter talking with Kelly.=

Oh! I didnt think I would catch up with you. You think I can talk to you when you have a moment?

=He looked to Kelly briefly then back to Shatter.=

Privatley?

=Logan looks to Scott, Emma, and Xavier as they go into the next room. apparently not immportant enough for him to be invited.=

Well if its not serious..

=Logan got to his feet and made his way to the Elevator.=

Xavier reaches all of his able students including Kelly and Spider-Man.

"X-Men...assemble in the living room..."

He then looks to Emma since Scott has left the room.

"Watch him closely Emma, please keep him safe and help him in his decision making. We can't allow him to slip up or jeopardize our future with a brash decision. I need Scott, but a killer is of no use to the X-Men. I saw his eyes, he is angry and knows what he is going to do. I'll contact Magneto and see if he is willing to aid us. This is big Emma, the outcome of this mission can make or break us."

Shatter smiled at Kelly slightly before nodding to Bobby.

"Sure... follow me... I needa get out of these rags..."

She then made her way toward her room, not looking over her shoulder to see if Bobby was following or not.

Spiderman looked around ad scratched his head

"baldy is that you, in my head? I'm not an xmen"

Emma nodded and smiled at him. "Dont worry. I'll watch him. And if things get out of hand... Then I'll stop him." She waved a bit and turned, walking off after Scott. "We'll see you soon."
