Exiled Master Jedi
Spider-Girl smirked and looked down at him from where she sat. She then looked forward again and shook her head, snickering at the irony "I would not count on it. You never know what the future spit out. For all you know, I could be your child. You should treat me with the love I might deserve" April whispered silently as she bent forward with her mouth by his ear. She then crouched with her back straight again. Her words were not far from the truth. She was his sisters child. She smiled behind her mask as she sat on top of his shoulder "Lets move it, fellow mutants! There is a scientist that needs our love" She said in a joyous manner. At least she hoped their love and kind words would suffice. He had still not done anything wrong, to her knowledge, so it was pretty weird to try tell him that what he is doing would aid in a genocide.
She could not help but start thinking about Dawn next, Wiccen. She kept wondering if what he told her to prevent was in order to keep the war from happening, or if it was to tip it in favor of mutant kind. He did never specify that point, but for as long as they could keep Archibald from inventing those weapons, they would be of to a good start. Perhaps she would stay with the man and watch over his wife and child. According to Dawn, it was their death that pushed Archibald over the edge.
Would she dare tell the X-Men though, she did not know. What if she told them and his wife and child ended up dead anyway. She knew the X-Men represented justice, but would they maybe be willing to take his life in order to prevent the holocaust. April was well aware that his weapons would turn the tide, but it did not feel right to judge a man according to what he might end up doing. You should answer for your crimes done, not for your future crimes.
She looked around herself, at the various faces. She locked gaze on Rockslide, the big fellow made out of stone. He worried her, more than any of the other. Then there was Warpath. April recognized him, both by face and from tales told by Wolverine. She trusted him as little as she did Rockslide. No, some of these people were not ready for the whole truth. They lacked the control that her father had spent his whole life teaching April about. There is always another way. Some people sadly does not know this.
