"My mother ... " She started, looking at the floor for a moment. This was weird. Her mother was in a sense his sister. He did not need to know that. No one did, really. That Spider-Man was her father, was not hard to guess though, so she would give him that "Spider-Man is my father, yes. I do not think my mother is born yet" She was about to ask if Jean was still alive, but decided against it. She did not want to give the people here any ideas at all, or effect the future in a bad way. She loved her mother and father, and her mother came to exist because of Emma and Scott. She did not want to say anything that could change that outcome, although simply being here probably already had. To some degree, although not necessarily enough "Let's just not snoop in my life, okay? I think it's for the best that my family and friends are left a mystery for the future" She said and looked up at Cable, then at Jubilee.
April looked around as people started gathering up. She jumped of the table and took a few steps forward to place herself next to Cable "No war! I came to stop, not to jump start. Who knows what will happen if you take action now? And should we not chat with Cyclops first? Where is he? Or is this that professor dude's era?"
"Maybe beast should check that eye of yours out.This is an yellow jacket waist lenght.Long black pants with black.The shades are red buddy.Someone needs to learn there colors.All in all.Your so lame but we still love you.So sup?"Jubilee asked pooping another peice of gum into her mouth and raised her eyebrow at Cable."Why is spider-woman here?Like when did you change your fit?"
"It's still a raincoat and you still look like the daughter or Bret Hart. It's not a war yet, we're going to prevent a war. I'm not going to go and harm those people. We're going to talk to them and convince them that mutants are good and all of that stuff. There will be no violence unless it is acted upon us first. I am no monster and I would not kill someone who has yet to earn death." He didn't like Jubilee disrespecting him so he decided to play a little trick on her that turned her gum into tar flavored tobacco. He again believed her when she said she couldn't reveal her parents or anymore of her history. Nate had to protect the future and her existence as well as his own. He had to keep everyone and himself from jeopardizing her existence. "Two things I need to get across next. We can't know who she is or where she's from at the moment until her existence is confirmed to be still in motion. Knowing too much could prevent something. That being said, I'm ordering you all not to get too close to her or try to get to know her on a personal level. She's Spider-Girl a newly surfaced S.H.I.E.L.D. agent." He burned this inside everyone's head and made them believe she was an agent. It was pretty easy for him and the only ones he left alone were the Cuckoos, he didn't have the time to try and focus on all of their minds and their one mind at once. He would try to be reasonable and ask them to forget it later. The other person was Seanna, she was an adult so he would speak to her like one and ask for her permission. He then spoke to Spider-Girl mentally. *Lets refrain from the future talk, act like you're from our time for right now. Anything you need to know then ask me. My father is Cyclops and he is helping the Shi'Ar out with a little political problem right now. At the moment I am the acting leader.*
"Ew"Jubilee spit the gum into her hand.She was looking at it till she heard what cable said."Oh no you don't Nate.We arn't doing anything until we hear from Professor or Storm.You asking students to come is the upmost foolish thing I've heard.They arn't X-Men for one and two there isn't enough of us to protect them case something happens.Like the Brotherhood,Magneto.For heavens sake we might even run into someone like that psychoc Dr.Doom.Nope the students are staying.Now the X-men going is an different story kinda.Don't try to mess with my head on this Cable.I swear you better stay out.Now let's gather up the teachers and X-men only since you wanna play top gun."
Angelus walked across to the woman and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Well your timing isn't great, that's evident. But maybe it's best if we wait to hear the Professor's thoughts on the subject before even considering taking action. I can respect your point of view Cable but it's no good going out and trying to persuade the key humans from the alternate timeline until we have more substantial information. Don't you agree?"
Vulcan didn't like Wolverine's saliva nor Jean's attack on his mind. She was down and it was time for her to be permanently out and for Cyclops to go through another time of grief. He picked her up and stood her in front of ready to snap her neck right before him. "No Vulcan!" His hands were about to end her but they were caught by Gladiator and he squeezed tightly on his left wrist, thus shattering it. Vulcan fell to the ground and grabbed his wrist while screaming in pain. "They are here as members of the Imperial Guard, you are not to harm them." He then pulled Scott and Wolverine free. "Now leave this place and allow them to continue their search for our Empress."
Cable ignored her because she didn't have a clue on what she was talking about and she had no rank or authority to question him at all. His father was gone, Jean was gone, Storm was gone and the professor was gone so that left him, as one of the only adults and the most qualified to lead them. He was a Summers, she wasn't. He wouldn't lead them out yet seeing as he doesn't know who these future enemies were so he needed the help of Spider-Girl. She was the one he needed to ensure no future lives were wasted. "Spider-Girl, as I've said before I am not here to fight them or hurt them. I just want to talk to them early and show them that there doesn't have to be a war. I won't mention anything that is supposed to happen. We lead a peaceful march today, no violence, no nonsense." He waited on her reply until Angelus commented. Her heart, like his was in the right place but she didn't experienced the things he has, she doesn't know him that well and he's guessing she didn't know the professor that well. He wasn't as wise and innocent as he may seem. He remained calm and strong. "I don't tend to wait for Charles. Sometimes you can't wait. I honestly don't see the harm in just talking with a few humans. Look on the bright side this will just give you a chance to get out of the house and do something."
Angelus' chin rose slightly and she exhaled heavily as she shook her head, "Thankyou for the offer Cable but in my current state, I don't think that any long trips would be a good idea. I'd prefer to stay here at the manor. I'm fit enough for the time being to look after the students if you want to go but until the child's born I'd rather not risk any trips." It was a choice she didn't like having to vocalise but if this child was going to be born and be healthy, it was up to her to make the appropriate sacrifices.
Terrax saw that Gladiator had appeared, attacked Vulcan, and freed the xmen before he even had time to get up. He quickly hopped off the ship and flew towards Gladiator, the flight was fast it seemed like the moment he got off the ship he was above Gladiator with his axe drawn. With the same great speed he swung his axe downward with the force to rip a small planet in half if hit directly. He hoped to end this fight as soon as possible in order to make sure no surprises happened.
Once freed Logan looked over at Scott then at Jean, he popped his claws and hoped Scott wouldn't mind him giving him a quick order. "Summers, go get Red I'll try to keep your brother down he ran forward as fast as he could over to where Vulcan was. Once there he thrust his claws downwards trying to stab him through the lower back. He wasn't gonna kill him but he needed to make sure he wasn't a problem.
Santo looked over at Jubilee and listened to her complain about how they shouldn't go out. She was such a loser in his mind and couldn't help but laugh when Cable made fun of her clothes. "Ya know you can just stay here Jubi-useless, you and the pregnant lady can go watch the little kids. Me and the real mutants are gonna go kick some human ass, right guys?" He said loudly while pumping his arm in the air.
James shook his head at Rockslide's statements, he clearly wasn't understanding what they are going to do. He would let Cable handle that and just relaxed his hand as he nodded. "I am ready when you are Cable, I'll make sure to help keep these students in line" He remembered when he was a student last year, he was like Rockslide always eager to jump into the fray, until his brother was killed. The moment that happened he had his eyes opened to the harsh reality of the world they live in.
Nate looked at her like she lost her mind, truth be told she was safest with him and the X-Men. Maybe she just hasn't been here long enough to realize where she is exactly. "Wait, do you know where you are? Graymalkin Lane, New York, this is the X-Mansion, we get attacked here more often than we do on the outside. In fact we're probably due an attack from Juggernaut pretty soon. You're safe no matter where you are if I'm around, I promise you this. Besides what makes you think its going to be a long trip since no one but our new friend knows about the location of the humans?" Nate felt it was necessary to keep her safe and everything. In the end he always ended up cleaning Wade's mess. She would be well protected in Nate's arms as would the rest of his team. He didn't plan on losing anyone today. He had to correct Santo, there would be no ass kicking today, there would be no fighting between humans and mutants at all. "No kid there will be no ass kicking going on today and if that's the only thing that's on your mind then you can stay here with Jubilee. Maybe you could help each other since she's got an essay to write as well.
Rei kept shouting at the speaker and suddenly stopped. She held her head with one hand and leaned against the table with the other. He was feeling a bit of mental strain in her head. He turned around to see if anyone was behind her, no one. Once the pain finally subsided, he looked outside to see if anyone needed help of some kind while hoping Gladiator or anyone had received her distress call.
Rei was shocked when he saw Emma defecting the x-men and changing sides. Stepping back out of site she turned in to Gladiator just to cause any kind of confusion. I see your true colors coward!. He jumped off the ship to roll near a body, once the roll was complete Gladiator took out a ray gun that was near the body. Die! Gladiator started shooting Emma as the real Gladiator came to aide the others.
That could prove hard as she had no idea what year, or even what weekday this was. How could she pretend to be from an age she knew nothing more about than what she had read in history books, non-the-less she would try. She then jumped and looped in the air, landing on the roof with her feet and stood straight as she talked "Dawn said that a human scientist named Archibald Stevens will ... " She stopped talking and looked over at Cable. She remembered she was a S.H.I.E.L.D operative now and not a time traveler "will ... might ... might end up acting out on a long held grudge against mutant kind. He's researching in something I can best define as paraphysics. Dawn fears he might snap, turn against mutant kind and focus on paraphysic weaponry" She said and gasped out. It was bothersome to speak about events to come as if they might happen, when what Dawn told her seemed so very clear.
Archibald Stevens would not snap just like that. His wife and son would die in an accident, caused by a mutant who could not control its powers. He would start researching the future of human kind in weapons and devices, which would play a key role in the human race winning the war. Her war. She could not speak of it as if it would happen, that was not right. She was sent back to change things. Not to act as if they will happen. So far it was just her war. The rest of the world did not need to know about it, unless it could make a difference and prevent it. Cable for one, she felt she could trust.
She walked around on the roof as she said then "Although I do not think my existence is in danger. Even if it is, I am well willing to risk it just to prevent something like the holocaust. You ... we aren't dogs to be hunted. We are living beings. I'm here to remind the world of that"
She then faced Angelus "You have me now. I have seen a world where people wished their enemies was like Juggernaut. Your child is at its safest with us. And we have Cable! The dude is a legend" Although so was she, but there was no need to fill in that blank just yet. It was not hard to become a legend in a country where the amount of free mutants only took thirty seconds to name all. She then scratched her head "Let's just pretend Dawn is a prophet. It makes everything so much easier"
Emma reverted to human form as Rahne came at her and stepped aside, placed her index finger against her temple and closed her eyes. She dug into Wolfsbane's mind and forced her onto her knees and turned her into a human, then had her lay down on her stomach and drained her of stamina. She returned to Diamond form the second after and deflected raygun shots by Rei with her arms "You X-Men need to get your priorities straight. You focus fire on me when the real threat is smashing you around while I am just sitting here. What do you hope to accomplish? Vengeance?" Emma asked and looked around. She sidestepped and stopped just above Vulcan "We are not on Shi'Ar ground, Vulcan. Gladiator might be too tough for you two to handle. Perhaps we should consider revising your strategy?" Emma suggested coldly as she stood above Vulcan in her Diamond form. She could not help but stare at his quite shattered wrist.

Tempo heard in the distance how things started to happen, but did not feel like the time was right just yet. Vulcan and Terrax were potent fighters and she did not want to reveal herself before Gladiator and them had started properly dancing. So she laid there, deciding to give them something like thirty seconds before she moved in. Her presence would have a powerful effect on Gladiator, but only if he did not know what to expect. He was not yet familiar with Tempo's powers, which worked in favor of Vulcan and Terrax.

The Cuckoos frowned as they exited their room because of the summon by Cable. What was he talking about? An upcoming war? Ridiculous. They one by one entered the room and discovered first most of the people that were still in the mansion, but also a girl walking around on the roof, a girl of resemblance to Spider-Man "What is it now, Cable?" They sighed as they made themselves comfortable. Esme wanted to peak into the mind of the newcomer but Sophie blocked her. Esme pouted at her sister and then crossed her arms as she sat down on the floor with her back against the wall. Sophie and Celeste grabbed a chair each, Mindee decided to stand and Phoebe merely sat down straight on the floor. Esme was more intrigued by the new face than her sisters, wondering who she was and why she spoke about the things she did.
Cable cringed when he heard the sisters speak, he still wished that they'd designate only one of them to speak for them. "What did I tell you girls about that? Only one of you need to speak when talking to me. As for what it is, we may have a crisis on our hands at the moment. I'll explain more in a little while." Angelus walked out and made her decision, she wasn't going which would ironically cause her to be in danger so Nate would fix that. He covered her in a telekinetic shield that was skin tight over her body. She could still function, move and interact with things normally, just now she couldn't be harmed by anything as long as Nate kept the shield up. He intended on keeping it up until he returned and it wouldn't be hard for him to multitask. He then linked his mind with hers, not to the point where he could read her thoughts or share her experiences. He just wanted to watch her stress patterns and be aware if anything bad were to happen. This was the best he could give her and her future child. He then looked up to the ceiling and spoke with Spider-Girl. This Archibald Stevens seemed to be their first target to try and persuade.
"The year is 199X (where X is whatever makes it convenient for whoever.) and right now you're in New York. Thank you for the compliment but I'm no legend. I'm just here to do what I can to preserve all humanity. I'm just another Summers intent on protecting humans and mutants alike. Its what we do and we're the best at what we do." He turned back at the Cuckoos to see if they could help him in this search for this Archibald guy. It wouldn't be too hard for him to do it himself but it would give them something to do. "Can you look for someone named Archibald Stevens? Spider-Girl, do you know what state or country he'd be in during this time?"
"The state of New York, I'm quite sure. According to Dawn, he has a laboratory by some Lake Erie" Spider-Girl said and then watched how Angelus exited the room. How she could feel more safe here than at the side of Cable, April could not for the life of her understand. She then thought about what Cable said about protecting humans and mutants alike, which brought back memories of her mother.
Poor Ruby Summers who gave her last breath for people in need "Summers. Yeah, you lot do those things well. Always have and always will" She said and rubbed her hands as she walked in circles on the roof "Good people" Was the best thing to do, really to keep everything about her a secret. Sure, it could change some things drastically and maybe even ruin a few lives, but she could probably also save a good amount of lives. There were people in this room alone she had seen, or heard of dying. Perhaps like with her mutation, her knowledge of a potential future was a gift. Great power was not always measured by how much you could lift over your head, but what dwell in your noggin as well.
Santo was getting bored of this talking and wanted to get out there and take action. He was always eager to go fight for any reason at all and this seemed like a good reason. He felt they already a nice sized team and everything with the main roles done. "Come on, come on lets just go find this guy. We have the perfect squad for some super heroing, mutant kind saving action. I'm the strong guy, Cable is the ranged attacker, the cuckoo birds are the telepaths, Spider-girl is the leader, and Warpath is...er...the Wolverine. See its a perfect one now lets hurry" He was clearly excited and could barely stand still as he was ready to just run out the door.
James leaned against the wall behind him and listened to what was being said. He understood that they needed to talk to this man first, since more mutant violence would just make things worse then they are. If they were going to prevent war they would have to be diplomatic, he just prayed that they were successful. If not then he knew he would be forced to kill some more people, which wasn't something he was proud of but knew it had to be done at times.
"Like hell I do Nate.I guess I might as well come in case you get over your head."She pointed to Rockslide while still looking at Cable."Please Stonehenge.We don't need another to here more rocks grinding together as if this was an sawmill.Someone please keep Pebblemon from acting like his brain is made out what his body is."Still Jubilee had an bad feeling about this but she looked over to several other x-men,mainly Kurt who have her an smile and thumbs up to go ahead.
Vulcan was hit, and it hurt like hell. He arched his back and screamed in pain. All it took was and upward thrust motion and he would be done for. He had to think quickly and he did so by placing his hand on his body and surging himself with electricity. Vulcan was immune to his own powers so he was absolutely fine, but Wolverine would get fried although it obviously wasn't enough to kill him. Scott grabbed Jean and carried her to the ship but stopped once Rei foolishly attacked Emma with a ray gun. "Rei, no! She's a diamond!" He shouted towards her. "Wolverine, stop her before Emma kills her, Wolfsbane retreat to the ship, we can't do anything here!"
Gladiator saw the axe coming and stopped him by catching his wrists and delivering a powerful punch to his face. "Scott take your team and find Lilandra. I will handle these two."
Cable didn't care if Jubilee came as long as she knew the rules beforehand. She seemed to be quite unruly for some reason it appeared as if she was under the notion that she gets to make decisions or call him out on anything he decides to do. "You can go with us provided you understand the rules. I'm in charge, I make the decisions not you and your input is not needed unless I ask. You are not to question me or any decision I make. No more bickering with teammates which also goes for you rocky as well as you five. To the students and younger X-Men, if you have a question or you are worried then come to either me, Warpath or Ms. Seanna, we promise to take care of you. Lastly Jubilee don't underestimate me, I'm not getting in over my head and if I was then you'd be the last one to be able to help me. These are the terms for you and the rest of the mutants coming. If anyone can not agree to this then speak now."
