Without turning around Tom listened to what they were saying. "The only way to get rid of contaminated blood is to bleed it away." Tom said, sounding a little sick. "If Justin can survive without blood in his body for a little while then we'll have to let it drain before he can heal."
Sam looked hesitant. "Do you think it could work?" Sam asked Justin, hoping that blood loss wasn't a fatal experience for a vampire.

''Yeah...'' Jess pulled something out of her belt and threw it at the ground. It shot up a beam of red light into the clouds, at the end of the beam there was a bat shape that showed up well on the clouds. ''The police will follow the rainbow, now let's get out of here.'' she put Justins arm around her shoulders in an effort to help him walk. They got to the school gates and Jess slid inbetween the bars to where her bike had parked itself just outside the school.
Tom tried to squeeze through the bars of the gate, but the wound in his stomach made it hard. "Crap... I might just squeeze my guts out... Remind my to patch this up as soon as possible." He said, trying to joke as he pulled himself through the gate.
Sam was still a little dizzy from the toxins Jade injected him with, but he managed to clear the fence with one jump. "Alright... let's go." He said, walking up next to Jess's bike. "I hope we can still keep up." Sam thought as he shook some of the cloudiness from his mind and looked back at tom as he struggled to stand.
Kel finally managed to make it to Gotham. He was supposed to meet Giovanna in town after school got out. Kel was visiting his father's grave in the Gotham cemetery before he went to find Giovanna. "She said something about Wayne Manor... I think that's where I'm supposed to meet her." He said to himself as he walked through the cold night. "I'll sure be glad to see her... even a few days apart is to much." Kel said as he hurried to Wayne Manor.

Giovanna walks out of the entrance of Wayne Manor. She runs to Kel and gives him a kiss. She couldn't stand being away from him.
