It has been known, that on occasion, people are aware of the political and social happenings and trends of other countries. It has also been known that people take interest as to what happens in other countries. This may not be the case for you, but that would not be something to be terribly proud of.

Wow now that would be priceless there.......requiring that they speak/understand English..........and that they stop taking these so called slum jobs and sending most of their money home and spending US currency in Mexico instead of the peso which is a drain on our dollar value.

Again, like I was saying, it's difficult to get a green card, and some don't have the money to get one. I don't see the problem with illegal immigration. Most people come here seeking the "American Dream", all in all this is country that promotes "rags to riches", so I don't see why you guys are against that. I don't think people should be required to speak English to get a job. Nobody starts like that (as far as immigrants), as they years go by they do learn the language out of necessity.

See well I don't have a problem with Legal immigration however ILLEGAL immigrants get out you're not wanted you are a drain on the economy! Trust me illegal immigrants don't have a large enough impact on the agricultural industry to outweigh what they cost in healthcare, education, loss of tax income etc etc......

If it costs money to get a green card .....oh well then all the more to appreciate your efforts. If it takes time great then when you get the green card I am sure you won't waste any time in the USA. Oh and finally LEARN the LANGUAGE🙂 Don't ask me to speak spanish because you didn't take the time to learn English however you still want help or a job or whatever.

I am sympathetic to the plight of all people.

But you cannot make their lives better without worsening your own. Immigrant workers bring labor prices down. Period.

I can't pay my rent and it's Christmas. I'm not even joking. I feel for the problems of the world, but the problems of the USA come first, and right now, we have a plate full of difficulties, not the least of which is the class and wage gap.

More entry level workers means less demand from employers, which always winds up bringing wages down. It's simple economics. I want to get paid what I'm worth, not what someone will replace me for, and the more replacement labor units there are, the less each of those labor units is worth.

Yes, the US was built on immigrants... Just like every other country. Everybody came from somewhere, genius. But now, we have more than enough people, development is running rampant and it may have slipped your notice, but foreigners have been blowing things up lately.

I knew someone else out there wasn't blind! 😊

Yeah, you can't pay your rent, and yet we have people who jump the fence, mix with regulars and wind up getting jobs with nice 7 to 9 year tax deferments, and they take aaaa-lll that nice money and take 9 or 10 of their friends to move into, and pay off a 200,000 dollar house in 5 or 6 years when people like you and me have to bust our asses 25-30 years on a 60,000 mortgage. Real fair.

Not to mention they way they keep their businesses tax free-handing the business over to their next of kin FOB as they go home with boatloads of American money.

We all want to be paid what we feel we're worth. But don't say that TOO loud because we'll get guilt trips about how if it weren't for illegals, there would be noone to pick the fruit for us. Or anyone for Wal-Mart's labor pool, either.

Next time I go to Wal-Mart (**cough, Orlando, Florida, cough**), could you guys at least hire ONE person who speaks English???? I'm just asking for 1 person out of 50 here; don't think that's asking a lot.

And on the condition that the jobs are obtained, legally. That means LEGAL immigrants.

But of course.

Many people from other countries probably had a horrible life in there country. It could be poverty, war, goverment, jobs, and other things. The U.S. Has alot to offer.
