Wow, a certain group of the people in this thread should be ashamed of themselves and you know who you are.
You are the ones that lack the basic human capacity for compassion.
Therefore, it is my most sincere hope that at some point in your lifetimes, you are visited with a tragedy of this magnitude and then you are spit upon just as surely as you spit upon this poor, unfortunate human soul who took his own life.
That may seem harsh, but you ones have consistantly demonstrated that you are not worthy of the consideration that you so richly deny others.
Did anybody else read the article and see;
Emo, a 20-year-old sub-genre of punk rock, didn't kill Josh, even if emo songs are mostly un-ironic paeans to self-pity. Kids kill themselves whether they listen to country or classical. The death-trip soundtrack can easily be Snoop Dogg or Slayer; on Josh's page, it's Senses Fail.
Also, on his MySpace page - when you go on it, do you get linked to another page straight away with a 'congratulations Josh' message?

Becuase like I said. If you have a problem that is so hard to deal with that you have to kill yourself over it then it must take a lot more courage and strength to fight the problem and beat it. It would be a lot easier to pull the trigger of a fun and solve the problem in 1 second then to fight it for the rest of your long life. Killing yourself is the cowards way out.
You've never been in that situation. Take Jedi Priestess for example. I know that, very sadly, she's lost her father this year. She's thankfully (I hope) had the strength to pull through that.
I have never experienced it. So it's all very well and good me sitting here saying "It takes more strength to pull through than to kill yourself". Killing yourself probably would seem very rational to many people in her position. They're not cowards, you're wrong, quite simply.
There's not necessarily a cowardly element toward suicide. People need to realise this.

Kidrock seems to be confusing "easier" with "cowardly." Though I don't think suicide is necessarily easier, I can see how someone would make that point. However, it can only be argued as "cowardly" if it's committed out of fear. Most suicides are not, they're usually just out of plain desperation or lack of hope.

ecactly what i've been saying, though you actually managed
to put it more bluntly than me, which is quite a feat.
sad that we seem to be the minority here, isnt it? 🙁
is this a cross section of the general population,
or just a matter of internet forums attracting an unusual
amount of cold hearted pricks?

Well "considering the fact" that you're a very anal person (as Syren was correct about), you're thoroughly proven yourself unworthy of keeping a relationship for over a month without scaring her away with your scientific "Im always right" crap.
I find it very ironic that as soon as people make fun of your boyfriend in your sig, you say you don't give a shit and immediately change it and your avatar to that of a naked man with a muscley body. So clearly you have bigger relationship and self-image issues than me right now.

I may have previously been moapy but I have nothing better to do than to act the way I want to and take pictures of myself/Daniel the way I feel like it, and actually those sigs were so long ago I can barely even remember them, but Im glad you can. 😐 And secondly, Here we are with the "Morbid" again, and the bringing up old subjects. My name is in no manner 'depressing' anymore, but now that you bring it up you, and knowone else know my relationship with Daniel as much as he and I and I have every right to add Morbid to my name if I wish, because he's someone Id risk everything for.
Then don't agree with someone when they poke fun at people for a lifestyle they choose to live, because it makes you look like a disgraceful hypocrite for saying "You can't judge me and Daniel!" then judging others.

And speaking of how everyone is tired of hearing me say "Daniel this, Daniel that" in my posts, I've taken that advice and tried my best not to mention him but it's not MY fault, obviously that I do that, it's everyone else bringing him UP!
Save yourself some room and dont post all that scientific crap to me, you dont know me.
Anyone ELSE who wants to nag at me?
Don't sit there saying "You don't know me" then come in agreeing with a guy who says something about "emo kids".

well morbid is certainly not the word. morbid is death related, hinting a death wish. its commendable to be willing to sacrifice for your significant other (so long as such a sacrifice is rational and mutual with regards to that person) but 'dedication' and 'morbidness' are certainly not synonyms.
...thus the misunderstanding it seems
