captain america movie

i herd there making a movie of captain america soon but i havent gotten alot of info from it. lets hear it from you

I hope so, soon. Last year it was reported Brad Pitt was interested in the role. He could be fine, provided he gets in Troy-like shape again, but doesn't have "A voice that could command a God...", like they write in the comics. Pitt should do it before he gets older; otherwise, let's find someone younger.

As much as I think they should do a Captain America movie, and make it sort of definitive like the rest of the films they've been doing, I think they should focus on other ones first. Flash, Iron Man, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and the films that are already out now (Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, X-Men, Hulk) should be focused on before they start work on C.A.

Casting, I have no idea who I'd put as any of the roles - I'm just hoping they don't throw Bucky in there, he outshines old-Robin in gayness.

Yes, no Bucky. Robin can be bad enough, but a young kid sidekick in a World War? Maybe they swallowed it then, but no one would now.

Who do you guys think should play cap?

The right person doesn't come to mind - it might have to be an unknown. And please, no wrestlers.

I'm not blond or even american, but I love Cap. He's 6'2 and Thor is a bit taller. The Avengers! How long was he out frozen since 1940?

An actor with a great voice that sounds commanding would do. The problem is trying to find someone who has both, because actors with great voices like Liam Neeson and Russell Crowe aren't right for this part.

Now that's a bit of misunderstanding. When Arnold played Herc he had another voice, but later we realized that his voice was also convincing.

I'm not suggesting they dub in another voice, like Hercules Goes Bananas.

I think that with enough polish and practice John Cena could be a great Captain America, I also thought Brad Pitt could do it too but he's a little short isn't he? they say he's 6' on the nose but I think he's really only 5'10" or 5'11" cap is just taller and it would show. Nathan Jones however could play a variety of good comic book powerhouse type guys like Cain Marko but they already messed that up... oh, Nathan is the guy from Troy that played Boagrias.

Leave Pitt where he is...he's far from close to Cap. New actors are better to play superheroes. Look, go out there and search well.

Hayden Christensen or James Franco - whoever looks best after some serious gym work. Hayden's is 6"2, but maybe has more temperment to be Ultimate Cap - push the lines of fair play, bash someone down and dirty to win.

Nathan could have played Hulk or Juggernaut - though we're seeing how they get around the size issue, with that suit Vinnie Jones will wear.
I'm pushing for Nathan to play Thor.

Even though he was the Punisher,I think Thomas Jane would make a very good Cap.

If they did make a cap movie I think he should wear his costume from ultimates. his mainstream costume might look too cheesy............
