The wings are the main symbol of freedom...freedom for America, that is why Captain America was created. You can't take the wings man!

They did in Ultimates and its popularity is ever increasing 😉

They would need to find some reason to justify the wings...and I think audiences might find the helmet used in the Ultimates more plausible, than the simple mask.

Nathan could have played Hulk or Juggernaut - though we're seeing how they get around the size issue, with that suit Vinnie Jones will wear.
I'm pushing for Nathan to play Thor.

Nathan Jones would make the absolute best Thor... Bill Goldberg for Lobo!!! I, know that no one wants another wrestler in movies after the way Hogan butchered Hollywood, but guys like The Rock, and John Cena have something that Hogan never had, and that's charisma. The Rock as a newbie actor is a lot better that he is given credit for.

I don't think that there is anyone in all of Hollywood that looks more like Captain America than Cena, his only downfall is that he's a little taller than Captain America (2 inches).

Just go and look at his Pics on the net, and you might be able to see what I do.

Pah, forget Bill Goldberg, I wanna see Cap played by the one, the only...

... WHOOPI GOLDBERG!

The helmet was the worst idea. Do not take the wings because he represents a symbol...his own creation (the formula) was for freedom. People today can't think clearly. And the A is also leadership for the Avengers and also America...Avengers=America yep that's right.

I'd still watch those movies 😄

At one time I thought Matthew McConaughey would have made a decent cap but he's too short I believe (5'11" or so). I like Pitt but I think he's dead wrong for this role. Of course I said the same thing about Jane in the Punisher but he surprised the hell out of me. Naturally, though, Jane resembles more Cap than the Punisher.

The right person doesn't come to mind - it might have to be an unknown. And please, no wrestlers.

"CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE CAP IS COOKIN!!!!!"

LOL... the only guy who can act Cap is noone short of God... but as Chuck Norris is God... 😄

they made a cap movie in the 90's cause i have it when i dig it out later today ill use my scanner to show u

Yeah that one was direct-to-video I believe...didn't have any interest in seeing it.....so how bad is it?

Its pretty bad.

Everything about it seems cheap, especially the cinematography. But their is somewhat of a camp fun watching it. Ned beatty, and the bad cop corprate Ed-209 guy from Robocop is in it too.

It would have been better if they kept the story in the past during WWII with Red skull having a red skull, intead of flashing forward to the present, or 1992 I should say

The American Dream just woke up...Captain America...Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios presents a Zack Snyder film. A Lauren Shuler Donner production in association with Ralph Winter productions "Captain America" starring Jason Lewis Shia Labouef Elisabeth Rohm Chiwetel E Jiofor and John Malkovich as The Red Skull with Bill Paxton as Nick Fury music by James Horner. July 4, 2009

they made a real people one back in the 90s

Jason Lewis as Steve Rogers?

Hmmm....maybe you have something there, Redcaped.

that woudlent be to bad as long he hes a good actor

Skinny Steve Rogers only has a very small part in the story...they can do a face over just like in Spiderman before he changed. Very unlikely [the other] I care much about.
