Probably because I haven't had time to look through it recently.
Come to think of it, though, I did look recently. There's scans, yes, but more than the Cyke thread would be arguable....and there's often a LOT of time between meaningful scans, making it an annoyance to look through the thread. It also takes a while to get going (Good Page 1's are imporant). So the 5 isn't totally unjustifiable.
That, and I don't have a standard scale...there's probably quite a few that deserve a little lower or higher. I just try to do the best I can.

Originally posted by DigiMark007Just because you have to sift through some pages makes no difference. That just means that people are discussing the character.

I'm just trying to keep it real. 💃
And I'm just doing the ratings at all as a fun little indicator of the threads. Its intention is to give credit to those who post a lot of scans and to give people a general idea of what the thread is like. If you have a problem with a rating, feel free to let me know and I'll get to it when I can, but "calling me out" and trying to debate about respect thread ratings won't get it done, nor will it do anything to improve my demeanor or willingness to investigate your claims.
If it becomes a problem and there's too many complaints, I'll just get rid of the ratings all together. Until then, I suggest living with the ratings and trying to suggest improvements to them as needed. If you can't do that, stay out of the thread.
I've gotten rid of the ratings. Not in response to anything said above me (editing them out because of one member would be rather childish of me) but because I don't have time to keep up with updating all of them, and I also haven't the drive enough to make sure every single one of them is standardized and accurate.
I'd rather just have the list than risk a bunch of them being out-of-date and inaccurate. I do, however, still have a list of "recommendations" at the bottom for the threads I find particularly good. The rest simply have the links.
