There is a little thing called defence that might help the elites when they fight in melee, but they haven't figured that out yet. Until they do, don't make any more threads like this.

He clearly said Aayla uses lightsaber only. It's in the title. At least read before you insult the thread.

Aayla would be slaughtered. Jedi don't use the force to actively murder opponents and Elites are incredibly strong and brutal.

But how good at sword fighting are they? And they can be as strong or brutal as they want, that won't prevent them from getting sliced in half. They have no defence.

Do we actually know that the Elite's energy sword is a plasma based sword and do we actually know that a lightsaber can break through the energy sword when KoToR had swords that could withstand the lightsaber's force.

Those swords are made of Cortosis.

Uh, an elite is roughly strong or stronger than Master Chief. According to the Halo novelisation, MC can punch holes in concrete walls and move heavy vehicles.

You think a little Twilek girl jedi can withstand an onslaught of TWO of these beings? Not to mention they're pretty damn fast.

Not to mention that Master Chief's armor weights around 1,000 pounds and he can still outrun the marines.

His armor does not weigh that much. Where the hell did you get that?

Well thats all I have to base them off, sorry (I haven't read any of the Halo novels). Do Elites typically practice melee combat though? They seemed to me more like strong aliens with guns that when they get close enough they stab you with a sword, not duelists. They use it as a simple advantage when necessary, they don't perfect it like the Jedi do.

I would think they can use swords rather well considering their martial nature. Especially upper class elites, who are all about honor.
