That is suprizing, I could careless about Civil War, but Anninhilation is keeping me interested and most importantly I want to read more.
Annihilation is fun to read, Civil War is fun and interesting to read.

Annihilation #2: 44,537Really surprising that it's not doing better than 44K, (down from 61K in Aug), cause it's really a much better story.
A couple more pages of #4 previewed on Wizard:

Not really surprising. Civil War has all the media hype plus Annihilation is headlined by C and D list characters.
I wouldn't say that Thanos, the Surfer, and Galactus are C or D list.
However, I see your point when referring to....I dunno...Drax, Super Skrull, Ronin, Nova.
Originally posted by SoljerWell I can definitely see Nova rise from a C or D level character, to a member of the Avengers in the near future, (if he isn't killed).

Isn't this EXACTLY what was posted four posts above you? 😬.

I would. If we're talking Nova or Super Skrull it's alot further down than C. Still, Accel is right though. Nova is the main character of the series.
Thanos and the Surfer, at the very least, are INCREDIBLY popular characters.
Galactus, less so, but still. He's at least recongizable and well known by damn near ANY marvel fan.
Ask them who Nova or Ronan the Accuser is, and they'll stare at you blankly.
Galactus? The giant guy in pink armor! At least he has pretty damn good name recognition, 🙂.
Being in a parody doesn't necessarily make one famous. A lot of people who don't read comics may not even get the reference in those cartoons.
I do remember a parody of the Champion of the Universe appearing in Dexter's Lab years and years ago, but this was before I started reading comics, so I didn't get the reference at all.
