Now that you've seen Star Wars. What do you think its about?

Now that you've seen all six. What do you think the story as a whole is about? I was under the impression it was to do with the struggle between good over evil. But in the end I changed my decision to the popular belief of Anakin's struggle. Although Anakin's struggle may be considered, infact may be a personification of good versus evil I like to differentiate the two.

However, I also belief it's got a sperate meaning of redemption from within the darkness. This is clearly shown in Return of the Jedi, however it did take Darth Vader many years to realise this.

I would like to hear your views on this.

i've always seen Star Wars as a movie that tell's the story of a family, and there struggles with many different issues that normal families sometime's go through - and not just the Skywalkers, but also the Fett's. There are many father/son relationships in Star Wars that probably did relate to George Lucas growing up as a child

It was about colorful swords and fast action spiced with magical powers.

OT = about Luke (c'mon...don't deny how obvious that was)

PT = about Anakin's rise and fall

PT + OT = about Anakin's rise and fall

Seriously, when you were watching the OT, you didn't think the story focused on Darth Vader did you? It was a simple story of Luke's growth and good vs. evil. Then when fans actually started to love Star Wars, Lucas decided it was going to be about Anakin's rise, fall, redemption. Don't look too much into it.

The story was about bad sith taking over in the ultimate degree and then getting killed.
Oh, yeah.. And hot princesses to be rescuied!

It was about wars in the stars. 😛

The First 3 seemed like it was all about Anakin and how he Changed, The other 3 are totaly different and are all about Luke
