I was just having some fun, but alright.

lol @ 'noticeably weakened' and then having 'rocked Galactus' all in the same argument. I remember the last time he tried that, he proceeded to merely budge Galactus' head to no apparent pain from the latter, and then ate cosmic eye beams for his trouble. So yeah, no, Thor noticeably MORE powerful right now.
You find my argument amusing? You're the one claiming that Thor is more powerful despite all evidence suggesting otherwise for no reason other than you disliking what he's capable of.
You threw logic out the window from the get go. You couldn't wait for at least a few posts before you resorted to stupidity? Not surprised but still a shame.
Galactus was clearly more powerful at that point in time, at the peak of his power most likely, which is why Thor didn't put a hole in his head or "cause him more pain than he's ever known". 🙂

As for Thor's boastful claim of 'i didn't feel a thing', that's all it was. Boasting. It's not as if this Thor is being portrayed as more durable. Afterall Thor busted open his forehead headbutting Surfer earlier in the story and when they butt heads again on Mars, shortly after the boast in question, neither backed down or showed any pain.
Prove he was simply boasting.
Thor broke his skin, Surfer had a dent in his head. That doesn't help your argument.
I'm not really sure how that last bit supports your argument but whateves.

Thor was not weakened by the wound, and certainly not noticeably. It hurts him, but he is not walking or even fighting gingerly, he is fighting with full force--blood lusted. Weren't you the same guy who hailed Asgardian toughness based on how long they could live without vital organs, yet you are pushing this vague wound as a detriment to Thor being able to unleash his full power when there is nothing to show this?
Not sure if serious.
The Mighty Thor #1:"It glows rather than bleeds Sif. What nature of wound is this?"
"You're hurt. You're hurting. You're in pain. You're distracted, you're..."
"Your wound, Thor. 'Tis worse. And Weirder."
"'Tis a wound in my gut, it grows, and it hurts like Hel."
Thor is visibly in pain. He was stabbed in the abdomen by some trans dimensional parasite. The fact that he can suck it up and go into battle doesn't take away from what's been inflicted on his person.
I'm sure if this was Surfer we'd get lamentations about the unfathomable pain he's going through every other page but there's a reason why Thor's always been tougher.

Thor is fighting bloodlusted albeit vaguely injured, Surfer is mostly calm and unwilling to fight, and they have stalemated.
I'm sure if Surfer got pissed or serious he'd be making much more headway against this injured Thor.
mhmm
Would you look at that, a point blank blast from a pissed Surfer doesn't even manage to knock Thor down.
Is this the part where you argue Thor's more powerful now than before?
vin
For the record, Fraction's Thor is always pissed off and the Odinson claiming he'll kill Surfer does not in itself prove he's using all of his power. Fear Itself #5 alone supports that. I'm sure if Fraction has Thor step up his game in this arc, you'll see a difference.
And by that I mean Surfer will be permanently dented.
