Man I hate it when they make surfer do that...despite me enjoying seeing him get smacked by an uru hammer I dont see the point in him rushing his opponent while charging the power cosmic in both hands...just stay at range.

Thor snuck attacked one and bfred the other. Thor "showing" against the Worthy was better but Thor would have been killed by Worthy Hulk if he didn't bfr him. The crazy thing about it is, Thor still almost died from that tactic as well.

Yeah, especially from a writer who knows so much about the characters that he makes Strange say: "The energies he's wielding are unlike anything we've dealt with before!" Who knew? Apparently, all of the elder gods and abstract-level entities that Strange has owned are just bush-league next to Worthy Attuma.

I usually like your posts, but c'mon bruh. Every top tier gets jobbed out in a team setting one way or another. There are plenty of reasons to believe Thor > Surfer, that isn't one if them.

And you might think this is bad but you should see how desperate some Surfer fans are for anything that suggests Surfer has the edge over Thor. Like a drowning man for air.

it is laughable. I don't even care about it because it's story driven. Fear Itself is an Asgard/Avengers-centric event series. Surfer is just some afterthought with no real need to be involved.

It's a semi-Defenders lineup struggling against 1 Worthy. That's fine, because quite simply when I found out that they were going to have Surfer in FI: The Deep I literally LOL'd. Any comic that takes a guy who flies through the black depths of space on a surf board and is impervious to the heat of suns, etc. and makes him use his surfboard in the literal sense by taking a swim...it's just going to end up so badly, it's entertaining.
