I couldn't stand that guy, tbh.

Ha ha, I thought he was awesome. But I followed him from old Brave and the Bold comics, so I was kinda partial to him. I guess the whole concept of a spy, someone who lies for a living, falling for a demi-goddess, who's a representative of the aspect of truth, was an interesting pairing for me.

But, as a whole, I greatly enjoyed the previous volume of WW, both Picoult's and Simone's contributions alike.

WTF is Nemesis?

Superman x Kara in a incest fest of extinct proportions.

As a concept it wasn't bad, I just didn't like the execution.

I will also say that Wonder Woman is extremely hard to find a romantic partner for. Steve Trevor...blah. Superman and Batman both have been overdone, imo. Aquaman's a good choice, but I'm a fan of Arthur/Mera.

Now, Nemesis...that was one cool cat. 😎

Most likely for her they'll need to introduce a new character. Which i wouldn't mind if he's cool and some nice development.

Not really.

With the right writer, I think it could work.

So can you tell me a single cross franchise relationship in DC which has worked? That's the reason SM/WW or BM/WW relationship only works in elseworlds or team books. After JLA act of god not a single elseworld has SM/WW relationship. Last three elseworlds for superman are superman😖ecret identity, All star superman and last family of krypton, none of which have diana in it. No writer has written SM/WW well, Kingdom come has "marble scratching cold steel" kiss and the less I talk about Kingdom, act of god and distant fires the better.

In a nut shell, he's a spy/government operative who specializes in disguise.

The Tom/Diana pairing? Or the volume as a whole?

I think the series was pretty good for the most part. It balanced humor, romance, action, adventure, and some pretty heavy and dark things pretty well, which I think is needed for someone like Wonder Woman, which is why I'm cautious still of Azarello's current ongoing. You can do darker stuff with Diana, but it can't get too heavy and serious without it...well, not being Diana. I am glad that he has put in some kinda chuckle worthy moments in it, though.

The Tom and Diana thing. Plus, Amazons Attack... OMG, BEES!

I thought the series itself had its moments; there were some nice scenes and arcs (like the one with Beowulf), but as a whole it doesn't strike me as being up to Gail's usual standard.

I guess I was just such a big fan of hers that I was expecting something different.

Emasculation of the Superman. Lois's next bestseller.

I have a question, How many Celestials are there? Was a definite number given at any time? I always thought they were only around 7 but after seeing the X-MEn scan there are 10+.

Put another eight zeroes behind that number and you are starting to get there....

The Celestials is an entire race of beings. There could be as many Celestials as there is Humans. Did they introduce Wonder Woman yet?

No. JL #5 is when the Curse of Shazam back up feature debuts.

And I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon.
